Ok, as an update, there are a couple things that I missed that might allow you to beat the quota I presented in the video, namely shotguns from nutcrackers and presents for more valuable loot instead of lamps. I’m going to redo the math and make a follow up in a couple weeks with the real answer, but thanks for all your help and suggestions!

Infinite quota is possible. On the 3rd day of any quota, when the company buys for 77% land on the company moon and sell 3 bodies for 11 credits towards quota. Takeoff and land back on the company rinse repeat, until the quota is fully 11 credits at a time. There is no limit to this and it doesn’t count towards your days until deadline.

You forgot about nutcracker. The shotgun that drops from it when killed can cost up to 90. And there can be up to 10 of these on a moon!

I actually think there is no upper limit per moon for nutcracker spawns. Because when you kill an enemy whatever combat power that enemy was using up goes back into the pool to spawn more enemies.

For example, on any moon if you kill a bracken another one will never spawn, or on Rend the max outdoor power is 6 but the max dogs is 8 and dogs are 2 power each meaning that if 8 was the max active at one time instead of being max that can spawn in a day it would never be possible to hit that.

@@blastinburn yea, adding onto the bracken example: if a bracken spawns it will take up 1 bracken spawn and 3 indoor power. once it's killed the 3 indoor power is freed up, but the game still knows that a bracken has spawned, and so will not spawn another one

I'd be super interested in seeing the max possible quota for perfect runs with average luck, to see the max *realistic* quota. For example, if every time you went to Titan, it spawned 30 items with a realistic distribution of cheap and expensive items, each item having its average value, but you were still able to collect every item. Plus your quota would increase with the 1x multiplier. I would assume you could get to maybe a quota of around 12-15k before things start getting statistically unlikely. Great video, super excited to see more of your content!!

Good video. I played this game for over 150 hours, and I will say that this video is probably the closest one to answer the question of “what’s the highest quota” however, there is one part of the game that you glossed over that would allow you to reach the next quota or even the 40th quota. The answer: nutcrackers. They are an enemy that once killed drops ∀ shotgun which highest price can be 90 credits. Since we kill all the nutcrackers that spawn, the total monster spawns that are allowed gets set back to 0 allowing more to spawn. The max number of nutcrackers that can spawn ∀ day is 10 which means you get ∀ bonus of 900 credits ∀ day which gives you 100,000 credits by the time that the 37th quota comes around. Allowing you to easily beat the 39th, and maybe the 40th quota.

That would also mean that on march 1st quota, we would buy ∀ shovel and stay until all 10 nutcrackers spawns which is 1% for each, and also titan is 12% each nutcracker making the calculations even crazier.

Great vid, as you mentioned, that "impossible to beat 52k" can actually be improved upon by selling enough on the first quota to get max OT bonus to pay for every titan moon until quota is higher than titan cost, plus selling optimization. You can also sell up to 3 teammates for a max of 15$ to make sure you dont oversell as much.

Youve forgotten about one simple thing: nutcrackers.

this can actually be pushed further using presents and shotguns. presents can increase the value of items in them by 14 so if every lamp is in a present first you can get more value per lamp (i don't know if presents can have gold bars so i'll just ignore q1 and only calculate for the other 36 quotas). 38 items/day x 14 extra value = 532 extra value/day on titan. 36 quotas x 3 days/quota = 108 days before the unbeatable quota. 108 days x 532 value/day = 57456 extra value just from presents. this is already enough to complete q38 on it's own but there are still shotguns left. nutcrackers have a max spawn count of 10 so you can get 10 shotguns per day (they spawn on march too so the calculations include q1 this time). shotguns have a max value of 90 so 10 shotguns/day x 90 value is 900 extra value per day. 900 extra value/day x 111 days = 99900 extra value. this means that you can get at least two extra quotas and maybe even three if you factor in shotguns and presents.

Important note - You have to pay for Titan as you mentioned, but you don’t automatically get the money after leaving March. You would have to finish those 3 days at March to then sell that loot at the company building, which would afford you a ticket to Titan.

What about the presents? Now he made them rarer, because it's not christmass anymore, but presents are still a thing, and they increase the value of the item they drop between 10 to 14 according to 1 of the wikies. I did saw a large axle drop from 1 which costed 69(nice) so that is a 13 increase to max value at least so there is that. And they can drop lamps if you go to titan. But also this opens up a different rabbit hole, because you can go to a different planet with the presents to open a different loot, and I am not perfectly sure, but I think it can drop a gold bar rarely. With this in mind if you find ONLY presents and all of them contain the highest value lamp and they increase each of the lamps values by at least 13 which is 37 cycles*3 111 days *38 loot which is 4218 * 13 which is 54 834. So maybe saving the challenge for christmass gives you a chance for an extra cycle.

If we are to assume you have enough for a shovel because of over time bonus each cycle would generate 30 shotguns (2,700). 36 quotas worth of it 97200 credits, and that’s not accounting for extra runs.

If what you’re saying on the wiki about the +14 increase is correct, then you can make 5396 per day from lamps alone. Use that in tandem with apparatus,nutcracker, and going to company every day to kill 3 teammates and the days are as follows: Day1: 6381 Day2: 6384 Day3: 6388 Add the 15 when selling for a total of 19,168 per quota.

A few main issues: 1. Overtime bonuses exist so you actually need to spend less than 700 on the first few quotas- combined with the overtime bonuses it should equal 700 2. You start with 60$ so you need to spend even less first quota 3. Given you have leftover money at the start of the first quota (i believe you need to spend 710) that means you only need to spend 690 on the next quota to get back to titan 4. This quota can possibly be pushed higher with perfect spawn rates of enemies meaning on each moon, the enemy cap is filled with nutcrackers (when applicable) at all times and someone is going around killing them. With these shotguns (max cost $90) and with max spawns of 10 per day for both titan and march, that ends up being 37 x 3 x 90 x 10 = $99900 extra throughout the whole run, meaning quota 38 would be possible

I think it’s more of just finding the perfect seed for all those lamps on Titan and then just getting that seed over and over and over again. Unless there are systems in place in the game that prevent getting the same seed in a row, I think this idea might make the odds less than 1 in infinity.

You might be able to go a bit higher. If you get presents and all of them on titan give max value lamps, your gonna get 10 to 14 credits max value extra on every lamp bc of how presents work. So that makes one lamp worth 142 and if you add 38 lamps worth 142 you get 5396 instead of the normal 4864. Also don't forget about nutcrackers, they have shotguns that can cost 30 to 90 credits. 10 Nutcrackers can spawn on every moon so thats 900 extra from just nutcrackers. So if you add those together with the apparatus, thats 6376 Each day on titan with perfect luck.

There is one key fact that you've massively overlooked in this video: shotguns. Assuming perfect luck, you could get effectively infinite shotguns every single day inside the facility, as killing a creature decreases the indoor power, meaning that with perfect luck, you could get an infinite stream of nutcrackers spawning. I suppose it could be limited by the number of vents in the facility assuming the vents can't be reused, but that is still enough to drastically alter the results presented in the video.

There’s actually a limit in game on the amount of enemies that can spawn. Based on what I’ve heard only 6 nutcrackers can spawn a day, which is just a short of what you’d need to get to the next quota. Good looking out, though!

The max Titan value is 4.9k per day, and the March is 4.6k per day. This means that going to Titan will result in about 0.9k more, so the 570 of oversell is worth it I think. Hope this helps!

Change the formula to generate the HIGHEST possible quota after you start losing more than you gain from looting, since once that point hits you want the quota to go up as fast as possible since the more quotas you do the faster youll lose it all

This is not at all saying the video is wrong, merely a question, and I want to know what others think. I feel like your math should change at a certain point in terms of the quota randomizer, shouldn't there be a point where we would want the quota to jump to the MAX value, instead of the smallest value? The breaking point would be when the quota is more than what we are gathering, (so like 3 days*38 lamps*128 value which is around 15k). Once it reaches that point, we aren't gathering faster than we are spending, so we would want the quota to rise as fast as possible so we can get as far before we lose our stockpile. Let me know what you guys think! Edit: I just realized that it depends on what we are going for, if we are going for max quota, my idea makes sense. But if we are saying max amount of days, I am wrong.

Wait, if the max possible value of March is only ~400 less than titan, wouldn't you save more scrap going to march for the while your quota is under 300 instead of spending your scrap backlog to get to titan? It probably wouldn't save enough to get the next quota on its own but with the shotgun farming in other comments it could make a difference. An additional note though I don't think it makes a difference, the factory tileset can spawn on rend and dine it's just incredibly rare, but if we're doing best possible luck then it is still possible to get an apparatus on those moons.

I was thinking about this too and I think you're right. Technically once we reach like the 15k quota mark, I think it would make sense for the quota to start rising as fast as possible. The max amount we make it about 4.9k on Titan per day, so around 15k in a cycle, and so every quota before 15k we are stockpiling, after that, we are never gaining money. This means we should be climbing as fast as possible after 15k, to make it as far as possible. Edit: I just realized what you were saying. If we are going for max quota, then our idea makes sense, but if we are going for the max amount of days, then the math is currently correct.

you forgot nutcracker s if you got the max amount of nutcracker and killed all of them and retrieved their shotguns you could get an extra 76,000 so 38 days would be possible but then again since you didn't factor the size of the map and how far you can travel with your stamina the final estimation is flawed even if you knew the location of lamps and no monsters slowed you down 4 people wouldn't be able to haul 38 lamps back to ship thats impossible they would run out of time

You’re right, I did, but doing some quick math the shotguns themselves aren’t that valuable, and in order to match the output on Titan you’d need to kill 1 nutcracker every 10 seconds every single day. I’m not sure if that’s even physically possible, I’d have to look more into how monster spawns work. Even then, that’s just to match the lamp strat, you’d have to be mowing those guys down to get enough to crack the next quota!

So, if we assume 5 nuts a day, in a three day cycle, that's 15 nuts a cycle. We then also need to assume each nut drops a shotgun. Over 37 cycles that's 555 shotguns. As we know, lamps will cover our costs up to cycle 37. The shotguns would get us over the threshold of the 19k gap. But that's using shotguns from your entire run. So you can probably get to 38 runs. But I doubt you'd get past that.
