I have come to the conclusion that yes this is the right way. Anger never serves me in a positive manner, it makes me feel horrible and dead inside. It really serves no purpose for me, I need to deal with the fears I face and channel that fear into positive actions. I take back my last comment, when I am truly honest anger only destroys my soul and in turn affects all around me. Thank you for a great message, sometimes the truth hurts, but pain can initiate change. Much love :)

Anger is all-consuming. I’m dealing with a situation with my husband. We’ve been married over30 years and he keeps getting more and more unreasonable and likes to hold on to resentments. He is addicted to his I phone and alcohol after work. I have been increasingly been shut out of his life and last night he told me that he looks at me with disgust, and that I’m a nag. It is really hard for me to live like this because I have always been his helpmate. He got angry when I mentioned that he gets into a strange mood when he has these overly sweet alcoholic drinks he finds at the convince store. He lit into me and talked over me and it was horrible. Even after all of that, I prepared his lunch to take to work today as I’m trying to be adult about it. I found that he purposely trashed the food I had prepared. THIS is what I’m dealing with off and on. I know that this is spiritual war fare as many years ago he delved into black magic and never repented. Please Jesse, help me.

My first ex-wife wasn't as bad but her husband wouldn't let me see my daughter then he end up in jail then she give me my daughter and they mess her up but didnt have the problem like 2nd wife. My anger come from 2nd ex-wife she tired alot of shit on me and wouldn't let me see my 1 daughter and give me hell for 12 yrs and she made a mess out of our daughter then give her to me and the ex-wife is still with all shit and I live 1089 mile away and I use to be a good man I try to fight it but it so hard.I never married again after all that mess so it doesn't alway come from ur mother lol. No where in the Bible does it say that men are women because they are angry. That's Ridiculous. There are a lot of very angry people in the world, men and women alike and underneath that anger is hurt/pain, unresolved wounds that need to be addressed. Anger is an emotion. Angry people are Hurt people and a lot of them weren't allowed to express that hurt as children - they had no allies, so they're stuck in the anger as a defense and a way to express pain/hurt. We live in a demonic world and that's why this happened. That's the Truth. People need to face and feel the hurt from what happened to them as children and be heard about what happened to them - then they won't be angry any more. They need to heal. Men and Women alike - People, Period. "Don't let the sun go down on your anger, it gives the devil a foothold." which can turn into a stronghold. If we would abide in GOD's Word, and put Him first and live for him, this wouldn't be happening.

Anger must not be uncontrolled or unjustified. John 13:17...Jesus' zeal for pure worship was proper and caused him to be angered by the money changers. It is, though, very hard for imperfect men to show this kind of restraint and often become mad. Also we harbor grudges and need to unburden ourselves, which is what you preach. I think we both agree but the definition of :anger: is the issue.

I think you should give the difference between fleshly worldly anger and righteous anger. If you believe that anger, All anger is evil, than your saying that Jesus is evil because he got angry as is the Father because he got angry aswell, all of the profits and chosen people are evil because they got angry. There is a difference in self centered anger and righteous anger. Righteous anger is the anger you feel when your taking up for the word of God, defending him. The Bible also says be angry but do not sin in your anger. It also states to get rid of all anger meaning do not hold on to it. Don't let the sun go down on your anger. In James 1-19 it says be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because HUMAN anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. James made a distinction naming the type of anger, human anger is selfish, fleshy, worldly. To be like Jesus means what angers God should anger us, that's sin, evil. Your a teacher, your held more accountable than most, get it right.
