I am 74 years of age and it continually suprises me now how little many people in our various police forces actually know about the Law, Legislation and the actual power they have. You have to ask what on earth they are being taught at Police College before they are turned out on to the streets to confront us. This particular Sergeants attitude and his knowledge was breathtakingly poor......and you can quickly detect when he starts to change his attitude whe he realises you know your stuff ! It was very interesting to see him change once his boss arrived, it then became all about justifying his improper behaviour and finding some way to 'take over' by giving you daft 'advice', which you dismissed with beautiful subtlety. The root of all this of course is that the police absolutely detest drones, because they convince themselves they can control everything, and therefore the fact that can't control things in the sky enrages them, hence their obsessive harassment of drone users' It seems to me that these days auditors working in pairs are much more powerful and effective, please keep going!
