It is good only if you get it like turn 2 (on faelin or lich for example), or turn 3 with prophet (1 gem instant). But you still find yourself stuck with this unit a lot of the time

Wait, wouldn't trickster with reborn still have a large max health pool that would get deathrattled? Or does he come back as a 2/1 version of the original 2/3 minon?

When reborn, a unit has 1 health. unless it's the unit that comes back with the same stats. Or if it's the one hero power that creates a copy of the unit it destroys.

Yes but usually they are a version of the original minion with 1 health left (hp in red) rather than their health set to 1 (hp in white). I also believe that a reborned trickster’s deathrattle would buff another minion with its full hp

I just assumed dog didn’t care about the extra health buff at this point of the late-game since he’s mainly fearing poisonous opponents and therefore values attack and divine shields more than buffing an extra minion’s health by 50-100 hp. However, I did not understand why he then even remotely considers buying the bird or wanting the ball buff to go on the trickster.
