I discovered Chit beer about 8 years ago. Try to visit at least 3 times a year. Was there last month. Great beer and great atmosphere. Nice people and Chit is always a fun guy to chat with. Good list of different beers. We start at the top of the beer list and work our way through the different brews. Always a great afternoon by the river!

The beer shop in Sukhumvit is the one near my sister's house. The shop owner is a westerner. Made very tasty draft beer. And at Rama 3, there will be Tawandang Brewery. Which is not far from Sukhumvit, you can try to taste with live music. and German Pork Knuckle And Thai food is delicious.

We had the suppressed law. It was lifted just last year. Vietnam has a fierce competition now. BTW, look at the atmosphere of Thai craft beer hang out place, and look at VN’s. It is not only beer, it is about the vibe, the atmosphere, the people, the FUN!!!

I really enjoyed this one. Living in Thailand I love hearing of new things to experience when in Bangkok. My wife who is Thai has Germans married into her family and Ive been to some German beer hall in Bangkok with them with live music but it wasn't craft beer. Definitely on my list of things to do.

Always Good Chit! I love that place. We stayed at Baanya Homestay Ko Kret for the weekend and spent lots of time at the Chit Beer Brewery. Delicious beer. It's only open on weekends. Love the history bits. And Hair of the Dog is usually my first stop in Bangkok. You hit two of my favorite Bangkok destinations today!

I only drink craft beer - it’s definitely part of the democratic and entrepreneurial mindset - I find hard to find in BK often advertised but then out of stock much easier in Cm. I’ve got to get my local craft bar in HK to get some chit. They rotate through lots of different countries but never seen a Thai craft pop up.

We brew our beer at home in Germany, but craft beer we've done it from time to time. IPA that my favourite and dark beer,alt beer Baltik Land is the paradise for craft beer, i love it so much so far. 🎉🎉🎉

Unfortunately, there is a pro-monopoly anti-competitive law that prerequire an insane amount of production capacity before you can start your brewing business, so there is still huge potential out there. Hopefully the next government will fix this.

We actually have a craft beer event in Thailand after Songkran. Is there an event every year or not I don't know. But I know that the event held in Chatuchak will be a craft beer event where craft beer lovers from all provinces of Thailand will come to taste and buy.

There are indeed hundreds of them in Bangkok, but they are not as renowned because many operated illegally, and even now, it remains challenging, except if you sell it in your own shop, which is no longer an issue with the new law.
