Canada- long surgery waits, people are coming here. They have killed almost 50,000 people by MAID, medical assistance in dying.Maybe more by now. Homeless, depression, anorexic, early treatable cancer? Fine, they'll kill you! Australia- triage in the streets. England- GP waiting list, 8000. Waits up to 15 hours for an ambulance. Govt says if you can go pay for private, "help the system"! at A&E ( ER) wait in ambulance up to 6 hours to go in, going to dentist in Mexico or pull your own teeth.Every kind of strike- nurses, first responders, ambulances, care homes- name it! My brother in law was English. His sister died waiting on surgery. After a 10 hour ER wait they gave my sister TYLENOL for a kidney infection. She had to fly home for antibiotics or she'd be gone. He was treated here eventually, wouldn't go home to die. I have links for ALL of that. And the people ALL pay higher taxes for care they don't get! It's NOT " care" and it's not free. Poor Mr Sanders. He was born in the wrong country. In my country we have all that he talks about and we have had it for all my life and even some years before that. Healthcare and medications are not free but absolutely affordable to evrybody in my country (Sweden) and most of Europe. Ambulance transportation is free and if you have to rtay att the hospital for a while all you pay is abpout 10 USD a day. for your stay there. Including meals and the medication you need while you are in hospital. Some americans call that socialism or even communism. I call it caring for the peopöe of the country and I see it as my right to have that.

If Bernie asked if healthcare should be an entitlement to which every citizen should be eligible, then his question would at least make sense. If healthcare were a right, surely the Constitution would acknowledge it as such even if only by inference. The correct answer is that if it costs money or resources of government, it is not a right. In the absence of a government, one would not get healthcare for free so it cannot possibly be a right. Your freedom of speech costs me nothing. Your freedom of religion costs me nothing. None of our natural (God given) rights cost others anything. The rights mentioned in the Constitution which are not human rights, are patents, trademarks and copyrights which are uniquely granted by the government independent of the fact that they are not natural rights. Pass an amendment if you want to make healthcare a right, until then quit pretending that it is a right being denied to people.

America cant afford to house for free forever. Bernie foreign countries tax at 70 percent..we tax at 10 percent. We expect people to pay their own way. It is not a human right. We are not every country. Stop taking meds. Most are not needed. The big hospital in Vermont just discussed paying fair wages to health workers and decreasing the CEOs huge half million dollar bonuses every year. A bigger decrease should be mandated but wont be. Its a privilege to work in Vermont you know. Such sh!!

Health care is a human need, not a right derived from self government. Human needs cannot be provided in economic systems that Bernie Sanders has praised. Freedom of enterprise provides the most opportunity for humans to achieve the production and distribution of goods and services for their human needs. The issue with Medicare is the government is paying billions to many insurers and employers and even government employers to get people off Medicare and into Medicare Advantage, which is deniable insurance, not coverage.

Your comment makes no sense. We spend almost 1 Trillion dollars per year on National Security but somehow if you have a heart attack with no insurance then you get nothing? We spend federal money on security guards to look inside your shoes at the airport but you can't get free medical to keep you alive? Get serious.
