Yes Marti, that was indeed some psychology stuff going on there. All the other cops were normal people with normal personalities, then the sergeant comes out with instant Narcissistic Personality Disorder and small man syndrome. He wants to be the center of attention, he wants to be top dog, he wants to boss everyone about, he has no empathy for anyone or anything around him, etc... I'll tell you now, the cop with the helmet on was balled out by the sarge when he went back in (another sign of NPD) and ordered to go out there and lay down directives.
