going by your title, i thought you had an entirely different thing in mind. for me, trying to keep up with better players improved my playing more than anything else i can think of off the top of my head. that said, your advice in this video is a simple, but oh so important lesson for new folks. nice job!

Right you are. For some time now, I have been trying to increase the percentage of longer notes ond pauses, and (at least to me) it sounds better than before.
