Thanks for your kind sharing! It is one of my most favorite old English songs! I listend to it when I was a senior high school kid in 1968 in Taiwan, and am still listening to it as a retired professor now in 2024. I willl hereby say to my late wife who passed away in 2021: "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me," but I will say to you "Honey, I love you forever wherever you are now!" My love to you is not a memory, it's an eternality , believe me! ......

I was 9 years old, in my standard 3 primary school when this song was released. Now I'm 63 a golden age. The song brought tears to me as I reminisced those wonderful years. Now I'm lost and deaf with the new genres of song, almost head breaking. Dusty Springfield was one of my idol

what a beautiful pieces of song ! Full of sentimental value, it broke my heart. No singer can sing like the way she did. Oldies are like old wine and they are so full of aroma

It sooo good u can't ignore it like angels Dusty Springfield should be proud won of her best songs ever
Dusty had a smoky, sultry voice that could rivet you to a particular moment in time. So many people ridiculed her for her "intimate" preferences, but in reality, who cared who or what she loved in her life,...... Talent is simply that,... Talent. Dusty had more talent in her pinky finger than 50 of today's "artists", hands down. Sad day when Dusty left this earth, she took the hearts, minds and memories of a dwindling generation with her. Dusty's music and voice will be forever in my heart as long as I live. Sing in eternal peace Dusty,...... We will never forget you.

Springfield is an immortal singer matching this immortal song. People who have truly experienced profound love in their lives will burst into tears when they hear it. For those born in 40s and 50s who know how to appreciate the excellent lyrics and music of English songs, there is no period in their lives that can bring them more affectionate and poignant memories than the sixties.

Sultry whiskey wispy Dusty = soulful, very talented she opened the door for a lot of Soulful black singers back in the day, she hosted sort of an English version of Hullabaloo -- point is she brought on all-black R & B offbeat artists, who were, BBC cool" and are successful well known recording artists and because she just dug the Style better than her image wanted her to promote, never knew that she had an alternative lifestyle. God blessed her, what a great singer I've sung many of her songs but this by far is one of my all-time favorites as well as Son of a Preacher Man- there's just something really funky about that song, has something to do with the way she phrases her lyrics-- one of my favorite mentors. thank you Dusty for your gift!🎶🎵😛🌷😇
