That's another thing I always questioned when I was a child and Christian growing up. Why Jesus and any of the other prophets in the Bible never taught the Trinity? Who Jesus prayed to? Why did he have to die to save us? Why is not talking to God enough? Why in Jesus's name? None could give me a straight answer. Everyone had their own twists. Some where similar, but all had their own twists added.

I don't understand why people make Jesus, the human, son of mother marry, the one who according to Bible is killed , the one who bleeds n helpless, the one who is praying to God in agony, in happiness, in all matters that makes Jesus humble , Jesus who doesn't know all things but the God. Then after all these what makes Jesus as God? What makes a person so difficult to understand that all times Jesus himself refer to one and the only God.

My view is that the definition :Crucifixion is a form of slow and painful execution in which the victim is tied or nailed to a large wooden cross and left to hang until dead, needs to be our focus. If Jesus did not die on the cross then crucifixion did not take place as is claimed in the Quran. The claim that a sword was trust into his side was to claim he was slewed. If we prove that this also did not kill him then the Quran is correct "for they slew him not". The Quran does not deny that an attempt of crucifixion and an attempt to kill him did not take place, "but it appeared so unto them". We need to thus focus on "they slew him not for certain". The question should thus be "why did Allah make it appear so? My humble explanation is that when Jesus was tried Pilate was against the crucifixion. John 19 4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.” 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe,Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!” 6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!” But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.” Allah was also merciful towards the well wisher of Jesus (PBUH) (Pilate) for Pilate would have been in disfavour of those who were adamant to crucify Jesus (PBUH). The time period was short for death to have occurred. Medically a dead person should not have a “sudden flow of blood and water.” Unless the heart of Jesus (PBUH) was still pumping. Today medically a drain is inserted into the side of a patient to remove fluids from around the lung. This procedure does not kill the patient but actually assist the patient to breathe more comfortably. Thus from a medical point of view Jesus (PBUH) could have still been alive when he was brought down from the cross”. “Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.” Today we acknowledge the healing powers of Myrrh which is an essential oil termed an oleoresin. Myrrh resin is a natural gum. It has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine. It can also be ingested by mixing it with wine.[ From Wikipedia,2] and the healing powers of Aloe. “Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen”. This is equivalent of bandaging the wound of today. If Jesus (PBUH) was not dead then they were medically treating his wounds. I trust my humble explanation of the verse of the Quran taking the bible as a guide to What Christians believe is a plausible one. So if Jesus(PBUH) did not die on the cross then the Christian belief of all their sins are forgiven does not hold water and the very essence of the faith is ill founded and they should thus turn to the Father who is one as Jesus commanded and later Mohammed (PBUH) emphased.

Abdul Sattar Poor explanation. You claim Jesus was crucified but did not die. The Quran states he was NOT crucified. Likely someone else (perhaps Judas) was crucified instead.

Crucified means a person dying on a cross. The Quran states he was not crucified which means he did not die on the cross. " but it appeared so unto them", means Jesus (PBUH) was mistaken to be dead. The quran does not deny the attempt of crucifixion but rather JesuS(PBUH) did not die on that day. The substitution theory is not a solid theory and not clearly advocated by the Quran.

Your reference is an enactment. This man did not die. It also shows that Jesus (PBUH) had survived just as this man did. I could have given you references of magicians that change places at the blink of an eyelid but Islam does not teach this. I refer you to my post again to show you how Jesus(PBUH) survived as a medical explanation in addition to the proof you provided that surviving the cross is possible even today by ordinary people of today.

Abdul Sattar It is NOT a reenactment. The man had nails driven through his hands & feet. There is no "medical" explanation. Either this was supernatural phenomenon or it was not. If not, then he clearly did not raise the dead or walk on water either, and is a false prophet as the Jews claim. If it was, then this is in line with all the other miracles of Jesus. I should remind you, to disbelieve in the miracles of Jesus makes you a kafir and apostate who has left Islam.

Wow... he REALLY has no idea what is meant by the author of Hebrews declaring that Christ would be a priest according to the order of Melchizedek. What this passage means is that both the Sonship and priesthood of Christ would be by divine appointment, not man's.
