God. This chart is so hard and broken to play in this game. Let me explain why.
The intro at 0:32 has a near unavoidable lag spike on XB1. Most of the time, if you try to play the chart as normal, you will miss and lose a run. I eventually figured out that adding 4 strums instead of 3 in those first notes when it lag spikes saves your combo. But it took ages to discover that.
The strumming section in each chorus is busted. When switching frets, you have to hold down the fret BEFORE you strum the next note, instead of like previous games where you can fret and strum at the same time. This turns any section with awkward strumming changes into a nightmare in this game.
As if that wasn't bad enough, for whatever reason, the ascending HOPO bit at 2:08 is REALLY hard to hit on a late calibration. Like. I lost probably 20-25 runs there. I could've played on an earlier calibration, but then I would've had to completely readjust my methods to the strumming sections, and figure out the perfect hit window again. It was probably the better call to readjust my calibration, but I got stubborn.
I've been grinding this FC since S3 launch day. I'm so relieved I never have to play this again.
