I wore this 45 out on my turntable, and then the album of the same name became one of the first LPs I bought with my own allowance money. Thanks for posting. A great artist who has been long missed.

I loved the Midnight Special, this show was really for the younger generation to hear their favorite groups and enjoy their music on a Saturday night.

His son, A.J., was a toddler when Jim died, but became a musician himself. His fascinating, but painful story was told on CBS news recently. Google up "A.J. Croce on reconnecting with his father, Jim Croce" to see it.

I heard a interview with Jim before he was killed. He said he wrote that song about “Pool Cue Justice “ delivered to him in a pool hall. His story about “Bad Bad Leroy Brown” was another funny one. I wish he would have lived long enough to write a book about his salad days. Thanks for sharing!

I remember both, Soundstage was OK but got too obscure after awhile IMO. King Biscuit was on different stations in my area, and you never knew week to week who they’d have on
