You DON'T Understand Frieren (but neither does she)

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End AKA Sousou no Frieren (葬送のフリーレン) is one of my favorite piece of media ever. After watching the anime and binging the manga, I loved the story of Frieren's journey to retrace her steps to find what she missed with her journey with Himmel the Hero. But what I realized was that the story terrified me in an aspect that I think about often:
Time moves on and it might leave me behind.
