I would too. I wonder how long tape extensions last...
@captainusopp63494 жыл бұрын
Lesley Williams they don’t last particularly long. A better option would be to have your stylist install tracks row by row. You get the same versatility as tape ins but they’re more durable, and last longer. The tracks are sewn in leaving the hair out in between each track, kind of like clip ins just sewn in! Best part is if you can find hair that matches your natural texture, nobody can tell :)
@lesleywilliams17174 жыл бұрын
Captain Usopp That’s how I normally get my weaves done. I only get tracks sewn in with kinky straight or kinky curly extensions with majority of my natural hair left out. I prefer natural looking installs

@@gazelle20111 The very back of your head and near the nape of your neck where hair tends to be the coarsest on Black people 😊 Where your roots show. It's a tricky spot to straighten sometimes without chemicals. It's called the "kitchen" from colonial talk. In slave days Black people were kept in the kitchen (out of sight) when Whites had guests. So it's where your dense roots hide when the rest of your hair gets straight and can fall over it lol. Or your kitchen exposes your real hair texture if you don't get to straighten it well.

Well the customer maybe wanted longer hair. And this wasn’t a weave like tight braids and sewing. These were simple stick ins/clip ins that probably cause little to no damage. And again. Its what the customer may have wanted. When you get a blowout which is what the customer got, it usually is a lot of heat. And from the looks of her hair she probably hadn’t straightened or cut her hair in a while. So shes good. She’s beautiful and her hair is amazing long or short. Just because someone adds length or a different style to their hair doesn’t mean they feel they need it. They just wanted something different.

MGXL that is not anything above a 4c, her hair is too thick to be anything else. And for the record it really was no such thing as a 4c in the cosmetology world, it was fine, medium and coarse. So technically her hair is coarse; maybe even medium and that’s the type of hair ppl say she doesn’t do!
@sugacanepimp4 жыл бұрын
Dira501 The various categories of 3 and 4 are meant to define curl pattern. You’re correct about the fine, medium, and thick aspects. Then there’s normal and coarse. In addition to low porosity and high porosity. There are people with naturally straight hair and it’s coarse too. I know people with this hair type shown in the video, and their hair is cotton candy soft to the touch. Coarse is a texture that you can only feel, not tell by sight. People often think my hair is super smooth and soft, then find out when they touch it, during washing, it’s a bit coarse. Hope that clears up the hair typing aspects. ✨💕😘

This stuff is for celebrities and people with personal hairstylist. This one will be out in public looking like a real fool when her hair reverts

Good question, my bangs won't make it into a pony... I'm waiting patiently on the growth. 😣

But if she washes her hair, her natural hair will curl back up but the extansions stay straight, how will she manage that at home? Or?

The minute I walk outside and start to sweat in this summer heat my natural hair would revert! This definitely would not work for me!

I love this video, she took so much care with her hair....for not having trim in years, it still looked great. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank you Beauty

I can achieve that style with my own hair. Just pointless in this Texas humidity. Man I need to move back to Cali. Lol
@carolinerheaa15044 жыл бұрын
Most people can achieve that with their own hair. All it is is a ponytail. You can buy a drawstring for added length.

That’s the closest I’ve seen to a trim being done right and I’ve been here since 95. Great job!

Her natural hair lenght should be gel or blended more, see the different lengths. Great style.

I saw that too so I won’t say I don’t like it because I do and I appreciate the stylist showing her work but I saw the same thing which made me not as excited as I was initially. All in all she did a great job
