Great Advice and 100% agree with more time on the water makes a better fish even over electronics

Agree. 10 thousand dollars of electronics is only good in the right hands. 10 thousand hours on the water will put more fish in the boat

Color gain to 80% and drop your jig right beside the transducer till you see it then you'll know where your rod should be. Gain up till it starts to get fuzzy. If that doesn't work you may need to go up 1 click on your transducer

Man, this was a great video!! I don't think I've EVER had a 5 minute cast. I'm definitely working on my patience but it's crazy because I'm also working on not spending too much time in the same spot. • I'm better than ever now but I'm still getting better.

Man I’m having that patience problem myself!!! If they don’t thump it pretty quick it drives me nuts and I go to fishing fast and changing jigs every couple casts and damn near kill myself trying to make one bite. Staying in one spot dang sure ain’t my problem, they got about 6-8 casts before I’m looking somewhere else, it’s a everyday struggle for me. Even worse when I’m bassin.

Loads of ramps most are around 5 bucks to put in. I use Bigmans 90% of the time but I like fishing the rivers. Dreher island will put you in the middle to choose what way to go.

Completely agree with first point. This weekend they weren't hitting regular bobby garland so I scaled down to bobby garland itty bitty swim'r and instantly they started responding to it. Only 64oz jig heads I had have a #8 hook which led to some getting off. I see on your site you got 64oz with #6. Do you know if they work with baits as small as itty bitty or is the #6 too big? Thanks
@TurnerFishingg
@TurnerFishingg 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure how big that one is I know the #6 fits 1.5 perfect is why we use it. If that jig is 1 inch then might be 2 big.

I was close to getting a smaller minnow a guy sent me some couple years ago that did work but I haven't found the need to go any smaller than 1.5 as I would probably need to get size 8 hooks lol

Steven the ACC’s aren’t in the same boat as the Outlaw Crappie Poles. The ACC’s have the Kevlar / Carbon Fiber Blend. I prefer a all Carbon Fiber rod.
@TurnerFishingg

When I can get one imma try them out I belive ya Just what I have at the moment I love the 13ft acc for scoping but the 5 foot is very less desirable for feeling the bite
@Byron4RollTide
@Byron4RollTide 2 жыл бұрын
@@TurnerFishingg I call them the “Green 2x4”. They are good for vertical fishing because they are stiff. But if you are jigging, you’ll miss fish because you can’t feel them. I think the fiber blend was designed for Live Scope fishing.

I'm a baby crappie fisherman in Greenwood who hasn't had much luck since spawn. I just bought a boat this year and haven't been out on the water enough to know where there are brush piles and spots that they like to sit on. I feel like I'm at a major disadvantage trying to use finesse fishing tactics on a lake that's constantly getting cut up with 2 foot wakes. I catch a limit of spotted bass almost every trip, but will only catch 1-2 crappie. I'm new to this and at first glance I'm a pretty successful fisherman, but the fact I caught a limit of crappie 3 days in a row in less than an hour and now I can't even seem to touch them is driving me insane. I guess I should add that I don't believe in live bait fishing so I don't really do that and I know how much of a disadvantage that puts me at.
@TurnerFishingg

It's all about moving around this time of year the fish will be stacked but only a few will bite off each spot.

Your assuming that everybody fishes deeper lakes with brush piles. Your also assuming that everybody has or wished they had very expensive electronics. Fact is that you are missing where many anglers live and how they fish.
@TurnerFishingg
@TurnerFishingg Жыл бұрын
Not assuming anything but the deepest part of your lake is what should be assumed. Also natural cover if you have no brush piles. No electronics just takes more time to find them but if a 100$ hummingbird is 2 expensive that i used for years before livescope come on man don't troll me trying to teach.
