It is amazing what community resources and state programs can do if they work together; in my area it's not as common, but I was incredibly fortunate to have an opportunity for income based housing and I seized it. I've been relatively stable ever since; and I know it's corny as fuck to imply such attachment to a sock company, but after a struggle like that, you sort of develop some loyalty. the world needs more companies like that, who donate to supply a sense of quality to the people who need it most, not just for the tax writeoff. ❤️

i wouldn't call the hammock guy on the bus "main character energy" but just a top tier troll dude / free spirit trying to relive his hippie days. its fun but also kinda sad. its probably some kind of bus code violation but as he stated, there are no "NO hammock" signs which pretty much means he's allowed to (even though common sense suggests otherwise) and he isn't bothering anyone nor the driver. the funny part of it is just how incredible control he has of the hammock and not falling out and possibly paralyzing himself lol.

16:50 this reminds me so much of my mum. She always tells me how nobody named their children like me or my sister until we were born. But also, I have never met anyone who shares a name with me or my sister - literally no one has our names. So while yes, technically she is correct, she still got it a little wrong. She says the same thing about our style choices like "I remember you were the first boy to have that haircut and half a year later everyone in your class had it!" (which is also never true) It's all sweet and stuff but I just thought it was really fitting here
