@@PondScummer I actually am willing to bet that, for a large percentage of men who act this way, the reason they don’t act “themselves” is because of DEEP insecurity and/or a lack of connection to themselves. Or, they potentially have some kind of impaired empathy; to be clear, I am not saying they are psychopathic, but rather that something in any given dude like this’s past has stunted their ability to connect/empathize with others. It doesn’t make the behavior and treatment of the recipient (/ victim, yeesh) OK, but I think the only real way to *solve* the problem on a larger scale is by extending compassion, and doing so starts with being a bit more compassionate in our assumptions of others. ❤
