Remember, there are always more people uptiered than downtiered, so the matchmaker prefers to downtier whichever BRs are being played less and uptier the BRs with dozens of people queueing for them. This is why the most popular/common BRs get more uptiers than you might expect from the raw probability.

@@seraphicwarrior6991 sav can still kill you frontally tho, so watch out about that. good thing is most sav players are absolutely horrible, so they are probably not gonna shoot your turret face. same goes with most of the kvs/shermans/churchills, can be penned at mailslot/turret face/mgport, but most sav players will just die.

The KV-1 (ZIS-5) is the ultimate SAV vermin hunter. Killed 4 of them out of 6 kills in a single match yesterday! They are scuddling around like rats everywhere! :D

you can penetrate the driver hatch with the SAV. Ofcourse you need to be at a close distance (atleast 100m ) where the thickness of the KV1 UFP doesn't go over the 100 mm distance

If these's one vehicle that I really want in the Swedish tech tree is the Landsverk L-180. Because most people didn't do the crafting event that would give you the Pansarbil m/40, so here's a perfect way to put a low-tier armored car into the tree. Plus, Britain could get one too, as Ireland used 8 of them from 1939 all the way to the 1980s.

Thanks man. I've been using this opportunity to spade some of the tanks I despise playing in normal conditions. The Churchills. They've gone from the tanks I hate the most at their BRs to my favorites at the moment because of SAVs lol. I've been getting like 12 kills each time I spawn with Churchills, Ystervark, Crusader AAs and Concept 3s. I somehow got 14 kills in an Air Arcade match my whole lineup was all 2.3 and there were a few 3.7s on enemy team. Matchmaking is so busted if I make a lineup for 3.3 or 3.7 I can't remember the last non-uptier match I played. I just made a Ground RB lineup with the first KV-1 and the 2 T-34s beside it at 4.0 but didn't even try. I just bailed but will probably try it later. I quite like savs, i always liked those fast firing but lower caliber low power round, unlike those autoconnons, like 20mm and 30mms, you can still deal with enemy frontally sometimes, or most of times if you know where to shoot, but doesnt have to strictly rely onflanks and completely useless face to face

Heya OddBawZ! I'm so glad I found your channel. I stopped playing War Thunder (and WoWS) about 6 years ago. I had stuck around watching some on youtube but honestly I felt like the reason I stopped was because of the attitude from some of these "community contributors". That one that takes to the skies once every 24 hours is an ape with no discernable skill at the game but really loves to be an obnoxious little gremlin to everyone in the community. The jangly gnome just became bitter and toxic and will constantly and savagely rip into all the players in the replays he reviews for the SLIGHTEST mistakes (usually things that arent mistakes but he says are because he was iN dA nAVy). When asked why he does this I was immediately and without explanation banned from his discord. Just grade A community. But YOU Odd. You're soft and inviting and it feels like there's no expectations of being a certain kind of gamer.

You've unleashed a demon in the world and then exorcised it! At this moment, the SAV spam is trully ruining the game in between 2.7 and 4.7 to the point I've dropped grinding my chinese tree which just reached 3.7. Like you, I've found that the KV-1 is the best remedy against the SAV. I played a full downtier game with my KV-1 (ZIS-5) and on the 6 kills I've made (for me it's a very good game), 4 were SAVs! That just shows how many of these gitz are running around everywhere. Thankfully, they don't have meaningful armor. The KV-1 looks like it was made to ruin the day of the SAVs. :D

@@kalexzhang8312 He might have overpressured you or the shell might have overmatched your armor. When you are hit by a shell with a much larger caliber than your armor thickness, sometimes it penetrate anyway even if it doesn't have enough pen to do so normally to model how your plate just broke appart from the sheer force of the shell crashing on your plate. That is called overmatch. It happens quite a bit with things like the SU-152 APHE in game and in real life. Oddbawlz briefly mentionned it in the video.

I was playing my Black Prince the other day and while dueling a Tiger H1 and Panther I heard 5 shots bounce off my turret rapid fire, then a minute or two later, 5 more. I finally wondered wtf I was bouncing and I look over and a Sav is like 50m away looking right at me shooting my angled turret instead of my perfectly flat on hull side. One APDS through his driver and gunner later and I went back to my duel. I just giggled and though "Thanks Bawz". I bet that guy went and spent $15 on a brand new tank and was pissed that it didnt work.

I was fortunate to get to use the SAV when we had to answer the quiz questions to buy it, but I agree, there is now a LOT of SAV players in the wild after content creators have shed more light on it then they have been.

I took this opportunity to play Sweden and Finland low-tier, to spade all the vehicles I barely touched and hadn't unlocked yet. Having an absolute blast with 1.7 right now, then it's on to 2.7 to get thrown into up-tier hell. But hey, then I get that sweet smorgasbord of 3.7. A Sherman, a T-34, a Pz.IV, and now the little fucking SAV demon.

I find I go up against the best Sav drivers in the world or have just one and done when Sweden is on my side. I've taken to my ostwind as first spawn at 3.7 I can at least return a great volume of fire hiding behind team mates

19:40 I started playing WT just before Britain ground vehicles and El Alamein were introduced I've only played on and off; never long enough to get particularly good at the game or very far in any tech tree But I looked at the trailer for British ground vehicles and it's...8...years ago THAT makes me feel old I've had the same profile picture for just under 8 years
