It's been years and I still go to bed thinking of her and wake up thinking of her. I have moments where I think I am over it but it always comes back to haunt me either via thoughts that I feel like I cannot control or via a sudden dream about her. And it feels like something straight out of a movie or anime and it's horrible. I know it's no where near reality and that I have to cope and move on but it's like I am forced to sit in regret. I have already ruined multiple chances at relationships because I simply long for her again and I've tried to tell her this after 2 years of not having spoken. Like I'm still holding on to a promise we made but she has moved on and as the lyrics state is with someone else and it saddens me. I don't know why because in the end it was my mistake for showing weakness in such a simple scenario, all I had to do for once in my life was be a man. Now I sit here at work or at home listening to sad songs waiting for the day to pass just so I can repeat the process and I am so utterly confused. I just wish I could explain my feelings to her properly but even that would not make a change in how things are now. And what frustrates me the most at this moment is how she said it'd be better for us to move on because if we'd stay in contact she'd end up feeling bad for me. I don't want her to feel bad for me, I want her to realize my love. But having said that, at the same time I realize we cannot always have what we want. And I guess that's just something I'm not willing to accept. TL;DR: I miss her. Also, Zaini I feel blessed for finding your music. Thank you.
