The problem with the language one is that you don’t just get to have a skill like that - you have to maintain that skill. So any language you never use, you might forget. So either you forget most of those languages or you have to practice each one daily, which would be incredibly time-consuming. Not to mention the con - losing 4 fingers - could make writing in those other languages impossible or at least very difficult.
