I don't know if you know much about pro skating, but you, friend, are the Rodney Mullen of FPV. Respectfully, you are the pilot I study. You are the pilot I try to emulate (though my videos don't really show that yet). I just wanted to thank you. I'm still new, and you've always been kind and engaging. You are a really good dude, Shaun. Be blessed and joy to you and your family.

Love the video. Are you running this on the defualt quid build rates? I always feel like im trying to fly a far to big quad for the space if that makes sense
@Shauny_D4 күн бұрын
@@JungleRabbit99 thanks! For racing i use rates 650degrees/sec on all pitch roll and yaw. For freestyle 880 on pitch and roll and 1000yaw but i’ll reduce yaw if i use a higher camera angle. For that giant quad in a small space feeling that probably throttle control. You can try to add a throttle scale % limit like 80-90% which will tame that feeling. Some of the extra tight races lll still run a 90% throttle scale.

Got a vision 40 and had to turtle mode and now goes full throttle. Motors seem fine. Do you think I messed up the board or is there a way to trouble shoot it?
@Shauny_D5 күн бұрын
@@CPTRedBeardFPV Not too familiar with that quad. There’s always a way to troubleshoot maybe not fix but… haha Make sure all physical pieces are ok first. Props, motors, arms, solder joints. If it’s flying to the moon when you arm that’s probably dterm noise on runaway so a bad motor, prop, or tune. If it gradually winds up and then freaks out maybe the board/escs. But yah if it flew fine and then freaks after a crash i’d suspect motor/prop causing vibrations and noise to the FC that it can’t hand.

Love the music room! Question about the tracks.. are these shared track ideas? Do you think utilizing more of the house could be funner/more entertaining? You broke into the next room but I am thinking of setting up a whole-house track - during the summer it could go inside and out. More like Isle of Man instead of Stadium Supercross... Been trying to think of a way to let people teleport in and fly areas without having to be there..
@RyanTehPyro20 күн бұрын
Just noticed RaceGOW.. might check that out! Only have a couple turd whoops though - digital A85 and an emax TH III indoor lol Even with the PVC setups.. could do like 2 or 3 small gate areas in different areas of the house and ensure linear measurement between them for setting up "the same track" wherever. Looks fun..
@Shauny_D20 күн бұрын
@@RyanTehPyro Yes they are shared tracks. Racegow Season 3. We’ll get a track layout every two weeks and try to get our fastest 3 laps. The tiny tight course has its own unique required skill set and has made me a better pilot more so than anything else. I’ll get out side or through the house a lot more for freestyle. But i will 100% remember this comment and try to get some more whole house flying into Track7!
