It's true, horror movies now days are generally crap. Anything can be a jump scare, even someone clapping their hand loudly in a quiet room can scare the shit out of you, jumpscares don't require any creativity or originality. Making people feel genuinely scared and HORRORfied of what they're seeing - that's what requires skill and creativity to make. Great job Daz!

I understand your anger towards this girl and why she shouldn’t get remorse or sympathy most of the time. the fact that people thought that the videos were real adds to the immersion of the story. Horror is supposed to scare people, and that sense of fear is improved by the fact that people believed it. If someone watches a horror film and doesn't start to fear for the lives of the characters, and empathise with them in such a way to percieve them as real people, then they are not watching a "horror film;" it merely becomes a "thriller film." True horror should have people worried. Horror isn't about the special effects and jumpscares, it's about making people part of the reality through empathy. So what happened with the Police and the fans who "were part of the horror" or "surcumbed to the reality of the emotions" portrayed in the horror, certifies that the videos worked as they were meant to. And I'm sure that waking up to the Police in the morning would also create horror for the person (in this case - Daz) who wakes up to them. Thus, in a way, those who called the Police scared you in a different way as to the way you scared them. Thus, unintentionally, turning the tables. If you don't expect something, it is going to boost your emotions - like proposing to your girlfriend/boyfriend - the feeling is intensified by the fact that it is spontanious and "on the spot." Personally, I think that this.... project (of sorts), is truely a peice of dramatical and filmographic art that should be praised for its (possitively negative) effect of horror on the thousands of fans who both believed and distrusted it. Well done Daz! You're a true English Horror Fanatic and Horror Story Developer! It's truely original and scary, which deserves an award for a realistic and believable story and setting! I hope you do more in the future, but it won't be the same; now people are gonna remember this and thus, all things like this in the future will only seem real to those who aren't as quick to catch on to things or are genuinely easily scared. Well done!
