I had a heart attack a few years back and it happened way earlier than I was expecting. I kept hearing from everyone how fortunate I was. And as I laid in my hospital bed alone with my thoughts, I thought about my road ahead, and my own mortality. I understand now that I've got a point and time when I'm gonna go, and it could be sooner or later, but it's coming. And with that it's opened me to experiencing more, to loving people in my life more, because if I'm gone, I want them to have great memories of me. It truly is liberating when you no longer fear death but accept it as part of the natural order of things. And so with that fear abated, step forward

yeah my uncle died of a heart attack as well, I think he had the same thing in his mind, when he was thinking about how he was gonna die, my family was like his only family to hi, the few people he knew cared about him, He also wanted to make ammends to his children for not being in their lives, and he pulled that off :D which is great, I think the reason why he wasnt able to be in their lives was one he wasnt really ready but two after he left I dont think his wife let him try to come back and see his children. or something like that.

In my culinary program in the mornings , when I change into my uniform I sit in the locker room and sometimes am a bit late to the kitchen . I just think to myself how scared I am how tired I am . Often wondering what I fight for , what I will do after highschool . While washing my hands it's like weights on your knees in the gym I stand there thinking about everything in life . U know, I just had a real come to God moment while listening to this. There’s been this guy that I’ve hated for months, cause it just seems like he has everything that I could hv ever wanted, and it all came so easy for him, despite the fact that I hv relentlessly suffered for years just to get a subtle inkling of the kinda life this guy lived. I tried to even be nice to this guy in the past but he would constantly reject my kindness and assume the worst cause he was a very insecure individual, which makes sense since he’s an ex ROTC kid. However this guy basically took away that one thing from me that I always wanted but he already had, just cause him feeling that I had an ounce of that thing he had messed with his insecurity. And for months on end I hated this guy, and part of me still does, and every DAY I hv these urges to get revenge on this guy but I still try to suppress em in the hopes that things will get better if I don’t react. However one night, an hour past midnight, I was sitting on my couch looking at this kukuri short sword my grandad gave me, and all of the sudden this popped up on my KZbin recommended that very moment and I just sat there and looked at the blade and thought “No one has to get hurt over any of this. Just cause I’ve been hurt doesn’t mean I’ve gotta hurt others. Things may suck for me rn, but I should be thankful that I’m not in a situation where I would hv to use a weapon like this, and if I’m not in a situation where I hv to defend my life, wht’s the point of wasting my time hating on others whenever I could better spend it making things better for others and myself.” And at that moment, the idea of hving no enemies kinda made sense to me, all was still.
