Yes, you are right. I would not pass him too. It is basicaly parasiting on someones other's song, his dance was also nothing extraordinary. Everybody can do this, just make some song, and dance on it, but I think, it's not enough to pass him. But, if he would sing it on his own, or even composing it, that would be quite different story... in this case, he would music genius of course. Simon is a little bit harsh, but he is only wise there, there need to be also some level of seriousness.
