TBH I use it as inspiration. I hate the whole process but I love how I look after, so I barely ever try with my appearance. So as a way to get me inspired, I just say, 'He's gonna look at you the way he does every time you look amazing' and it turns out I'm right and then I feel pretty, I look pretty and my boyfriend thinks I'm the best thing in the room. (even though he reminds me every day, when I look like a trash panda)

That comment about looking good for your man/husband mad me mad. Society put so much on a woman's looks. She was BEAUTIFUL to begin with, they just highlighted her good looks and did what she could maintain. She got into a ritual, wearing a ponytail, casual clothes no makeup because of life, Wife,Mother, Grandmother AND having a full time job. Thanks Steve for reminding men, to not fall off. They need to look good for their women too!

Anyway when we were dating, he picked me up one night wearing a plaid shirt and a different plaid pants! He lived in Ft. Worth, I lived in Dallas, so no going home to change! I didn't have the courage to tell him. Figured his mom hadn't taught him. I could change him. No more different plaids, but not a lot of progress. It DOES matter!! At least he's long suffering staying with me! Guess I am, too; been "suffering" for a long time!!! Haha!!!
