@@CommanderXevon A guarded person describes the insecurities, not the actions. A guarded person can be nasty to keep others away. A guarded person can be kind and clearly puts everyone at a distance. It’s really nice to see that somebody took this guy outside and had a talk with him. And that he actually listened. I wonder if he really means it, or if he’s just saying the right thing because he’s on television. The fact of the matter is, somebody thinks he looks 35 years old, and perhaps he does, and they’re encouraging him to stay the way he is. And maybe there’s validity to that. But when he gets to be 55 or maybe 60, and he’s still living like this, that’s gonna get old. And when he’s a senior by himself in the home with no visitors, that’s not gonna be terribly fun either, when all the people around him have visitors and people that love them, looking up to them as elders and asking for the advice, for family histories, want to come get them and go do stuff together. But for all his claims that looks are not so important, instead of seeing opportunity, this guy sees obstructions. He actually complained that some girl’s feet might not look as pretty as he’d like. Well that would be a great opportunity to take her out for an afternoon of spa together. That could’ve been a really nice experience together. Because who knows but that poor woman can’t get at her feet properly. As for wanting a woman who’s got her own money, yet complaining if she has a career, I wonder if this guy knows he has no chance whatsoever with an heiress. I know it’s not the fashionable thing to say, but the whole idea of settling down and maybe having a family, means that everybody’s got something to do that makes sense and is meaningful. Most of the time, the women have the babies. Because they’re the only ones who can. They’re also the only ones who can breast-feed. After that, she usually spends her time teaching kids to walk, toilet training them, giving them some early education. That’s a full-time job. Most of the time, our nice big strong men, are the ones who develop their careers, to do that part of things, so that if they can do it at all, they have somebody at home with the children who will not beat them, and who will take them out and do things with them to develop them. There is no substitute for this. She may be trained to do something else, and she may practice that, and let somebody else take care of educating and raising kids, but really traditionally, if he can make enough money to support his family, and still have time with them (which is really important), then why is he demanding that she have money, but that she doesn’t have a career? That’s just crazy talk. This man needs to do some serious growing up. I hope he has, and that he is well on the road to a life with some meaning, with the potential to have life beyond his own.

Lol yep that’s black men for you, always stating their desires of what they want from women but making a bunch of contradictions. See these men these days want a woman to help pay bills and go 50/50 with them but at the same time want a woman to still cater to him and the home as if he’s paying all the bills, and that’s why he said he wants a woman who’s not broke but not too career oriented and keeps a clean house because he wants a woman to not depend on him to be a provider, he doesn’t want the responsibility of paying all or most of the bills but he does still want a woman to cater to him & clean the house and have time for a relationship..that’s what these dusties want nowadays lol. Any woman foolish enough to be interested in dusties like him deserves the foolishness that comes with it

That Valentina person really doesn't understand men, or relationships in general. There is something called compromise. What some people don't seem to understand that a relationship is an agreement between people. If I have a girlfriend, there are obviously things I dislike about her, and there are obviously things she dislikes about me. That's just the way things are. The same is true for that guy who was far too picky. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be selective, but removing options because of arbitrary reasons is a problem with you, not with them.

If you need to put others down and puff yourself up in order to seem better, then you are NOT. A high value person doesn’t shit on others. When another person shines, they’re not stealing your light. They’re just living their life, which doesn’t include you. Making insensitive comments like the one above won’t make you any happier and it won’t bring the other person down.
