I just must not have the right touch for the chatterbait, thrown it off and on for about a year and have yet to get a bite. Near grass on high tide, over oysters on incoming and outgoing tides even with gulp on it. Maybe different areas I am a little more north than you.. Wake baits have been on fire though! Love the new content! Congrats on the new boat

Hunchback wake bait, hammered weedless gold spoon, and gulp shrimp are my top 3 redfish lures on the coastal bend and south. Go to any big redfish tournament and you’ll see every boat with at least 2 of those lures tied on rods.

Nice red in the mud!!! Never thrown a chatter in salt, but totally makes sense, especially in the wind . I use spinner baits often and do really well with them

If reds are wanting to eat they will hit pretty much any lure if you get their attention so chatter baits and spinner baits are great on windy days. Reds either won’t eat anything or they’ll eat everything. One day they won’t eat a perfect live mullet on their nose and the next day they’ll eat a cigarette butt, no lie. Just get their attention and you’re golden

Thanks for sharing the lures you be using.. on the last video when I thought that red was going to break your fishing pole I went to the store n bought 2 bags of chicken on a chain saltwater assassin n trust me we almost finish the 2 packs of lures we caught 2 limits of reds few keepers trouts n flounders with the same lure..
