"You heard some rumors about the prophet and the giant bird that oftens flyes around the monument, and although you feared it at first, you soon became used to the wonderful view, and understood that the bird meant no harm to the people of Columbia. He was a protector of the city, or... was he protecting something else? Anyways, a good friend of yours said 'you better not ask too many questions and just enjoy your stay'. It should be peacefully, as long as you do not disrespect the prophet - who seems to be a good man".

I really love this game and this city. Columbia's flag is actually flying on my flagpole right now. I always imagine a future after Comstock is gone, a future where this city is somehow left to its own devices in one of the many parallel universes. And where Vox and the Upper class pulled it together and are now going full Cyberpunk on a great future. While the world below gets more and more distanced.. Just me daydreaming - but Columbia would deserve it.

Hi there. Thank you so much! I’m glad you love the channel. Normally we get music from Epidemic Sound or Envato. Those are subscription services we pay for. However this particular video has a lot of music I had to hunt down that is listed as public domain from the early 1900s. I’m not against the American national anthem but the whole dystopia of Ryan’s Bio shock world was very anti American and several other big countries. I still haven’t gotten to play the third Bio Shock yet so maybe there was American rebels. In general great music though. The violin solos and pipe organ music was wonderful. And the air ship noises were very enjoyable to me.

Bioshock infinite was such a let down compared to the first two. I love a complex plot, but this one felt way to forced. They really should have just stuck with what made BioShock great.

@@KitspysDreamland if I wasn't expecting something closer to the other two games, I probably would have enjoyed it more. The plot, gameplay and characters were all great, but I think I went into with the wrong expectations. I need to go back a give it another try.
@ember-brandt Жыл бұрын
@@CrawDad1131 Okay, but you're admitting with that comment that your own assumptions and expectations were actually what let you down. How is that fair to the game itself? I read in an interview some years ago (around 2014/15) that Ken Levine originally intended the BioShock series to be written about _several_ different cities, not just about Rapture, which is why he declined working on BioShock 2 (though he did praise the game) and immediately started writing BioShock Infinite after the first game was released. It was never meant to be only about Rapture - that was 2K's vision, not Levine's.
