❤ You two have every reason to be proud of Jacob and Maggie! These kids work hard but they have time to be kids and play hard as well. Y’all are amazing parents and it is so evident how much you love your children. Meagan, your sausage gravy and biscuits look so good. Haven’t had any in a long time. I love your channel and though it seems strange this old East Tennessee lady loves your family. I look forward to every video. Y’all touch my heart and when I’m having down times your family brings me joy. I think about your Momma a lot, Meagan, and send up a prayer for her. God bless you and provide every need. Love n prayers from Tennessee. 🙏🏻♥️🎄

You & Megan should be proud of your kids. They have responsibilities & they appear to be happy with it. They are learning skills that will help them in their futures whether they choose to homestead or not. A good work ethic will take them far no matter what they choose to do. I very much enjoy watching your kids. Reminds me of growing up on a ranch. You two are doing a great job with them.

There you go Jacob. Crank that Ford at least one a week or so during the cold weather to keep the battery charged up. I'm proud of Jacob and Maggie. They are more mature and know how to do more at their young age than most adults do now. I love barbeque but wouldn't take anything for that sausage gravy and those homemade biscuits. Had a great time on the live last night! Love watching you make lard, its beautiful!!! I know your hog killing time is busy and a LOT of hard work, but thank you for sharing the different ways you process and keep your meat! And thank you for making regular videos during this time, I'd understand if you all were just too pooped out to make them, but sure is appreciated!! I know we will have meat/egg chickens one day a couple years, but I hope we can at least try a couple pigs. I'd definitely come take a chicken processing class if you ever decide to do that. Heck, I'd come help you anyway just to learn and help you out! :) I love seeing all your different biscuit making techniques!

To make a row of posts we do it like that: put in the first one, aim in the direction where your fence is about to go, put in the second post and just do the holes for the next posts by aiming the line of the two posts over your drill, for the distance between the posts just spray a mark on a tire of your tractor and count while driving how many times you see the mark coming up for your desired distance between the posts, finish the line, then put the posts into the holes.

Do you ever use mustard BBQ sauce on your shredded pork? I got some from North or South Carolina, and my Ohio family, except my mustard hating husband, LOVES IT! I sometimes mix bbq with the mustard bbq sauce and a bbq sauce I make, that is a copycat recipe from Montgomery inn, in Cincinnati, who is well know for their boneless ribs, together on my bun, with a piece of cheddar cheese! DELICIOUS!. Their bbq sauce has tarragon vinegar it. I make my own tarragon vinegar, by putting sprigs of tarragon in apple cider vinegar that has been lightly heated and put into a bottle, or I use dried tarragon, if I can't find it on the sprig. I let it sit in a cool dark place for 6 or more months, before using. When I make the sauce, I make enough to can a couple pint jars, for quick meals. The sauce is quick to make, so canning it is not necessary, but it's for convenience, or if I want to send it home, with one of my married children, along with a bag of frozen pulled pork! As a mom, my greatest joy is making food I know my 4 children loved when they lived with us, and take it to them when we visit! That, without a doubt, is my love language to them!! Thank you for showing us that there is still hope for America's youth! I pray we will turn the page on wokeness, and raising disrespectful, unappreciative young people, with a victim mentality and no work ethic! God bless you, and God bless and save America! May he keep our president elect and vice president elect, and the cabinet member nominations safe from all the treats on their lives, and the lives of their families! NO ONE, regardless of political choice, deserves to have their lives threatened or have attempts made on their lives!
