Most boy characters are voiced by women. Bart Simpson is also voiced by a woman and Laharl from Disgaea shares his English voice with freaking Rita Repulsa, Barbara Goodson (Girl Laharl is voiced by Cindy Robinson though). Goku has been voiced by a woman in Japan since the original Dragon Ball anime (which came before DBZ in Japan) and his sons and Goku Jr share his Japanese voice actress.

well, actually, while you're technically correct, there are a few different ways people refer to themselves. Boku, watashi, ore and a few more, but those are either archaic or uncommon. girls tend to use watashi, while boys tend to use boku or ore.
