That damn prototype… but the prototype was theodor’s savior and sacrificed his freedom in order to save Theadore from death… dogday was never going to murder anyone in the hour of joy, or really any of catnap’s friends. Catnap should’ve known better than to ask them to join him and the others to commit mass murder. Not really on topic, but this is why I like catnap’s character. He’s always been the odd one out, misunderstood and shy. When he found dogday, they became instant friends due to dogday’s welcoming demeanor. It’s so sad that the only way he was able to even become a critter was through pain (Theadore getting experimented on) and the influence of the prototype which led to his betrayal when he asked his friends to join him in the hour of joy. I love these characters so so much, seeing them apart and dying as enemies, breaks my heart. P.S.: I’m a 17 yr old man, I just thought it significant that a young adult would feel for some random fictional characters… ha. I would like to know if anyone else my age or near it feel the same way… please feel free to reply. Edit: Catnap has such a tragic life for a cute cat, another reason why he’s such a good character, and the best villain ever. His backstory, the reasons for his actions, the trauma that built up so much. He never found a place he fitted in, no one accepted him for who he was except dogday and his friends. Imagine how he had felt when dogday broke bonds with him. Tragic, so tragic, but wow. This character is very well thought through. Poppy playtime chapter 3 really had me shocked with how freaking good it turned out. I also thank the creator of this song and animation. I can’t wait sto see more!

this song makes me see that Catnap isnt really the bad guy even tho he isnt still... If you think about it, the other chapters Huggy and mommy wasnt trying to spare you, they only wanted to kill you. but when it was Catnap's turn... he spared him and even told him to leave playcare...Before... Okay I see that Catnap isn't the bad one, more one of the misunderstood good guy only wanting to protect his friends and the orphans. (He never wanted to hurt them, but he did on his "god's" order...)

I love how dispite everything,it was hoppy who was willing to from what I can see give catnap the benefit of the doubt... because she probably understands catnap in being a little more different than the others... plus she and Bobby at *0:36***are the ones who gave him hugs when he really needs them... and hoppy would know better than anyone that everyone makes mistakes*some more than others* but she's also the type who won't even think about leaving you behind*from what little of the game i know* and when dogday stopped and had the others leave...ide like to think she felt like she abandoned him,as if he was never a friend...it would hurt her heart knowing she was forced to leave who is basically one of her brothers, and she probably told the others this and outright quit being with the smiling critters all together and went to find catnap and make sure he's ok.
