I have used olive oil in box cake mixes for years also for a box cake mix preferably Duncan Hines, I add some ground flax seed, box mix calls for 1/3 cup,oil, I use half applesauce then fill with oil of your choice half and half , I prefer grape seed oil, supposed to be diabetic friendly. I use olive oil instead of margarine or butter when I make pizzelle’s not just for holidays in our house Now I need to make this olive oil cake.

We've been buying a cake that is one layer cheesecake, and the other layer regular cake (chocalate, carrot, etc...). Then the whole cake has icing.... Publics sells them but I would prefer making them myself... Can you do a video on any of those?? My granddaughter showed me your channel after making biscuits to your recipe. They came out so much nicer than canned biscuits (too sweet).
