Can't wait to see your incredible cape creation! Reminds me of Folkwear Patterns Kinsale Cloak. My fave go-to. Became Harry Potter, Jedi Knight, & musketeer for my son; and Dickens characters with some tweaking. Also was a mysterious Victorian detective in "Angel Street". Wishing your daughter wedded bliss!❤

You really have been out and about in the stores, I'm very envious, I didn't know you had a Hobby Lobby 7 mins from your sewing room. 😮That Christmas jersey is adorable, your little Grandson will love you in that 👏🏼😁. You know, I think the lining may make it just flat out hot. She'll be outside in the snow but that knit is pretty warm. Come see me! We can go wait for hours at Hobby Lobby while they put away the entire store before they finally get to cutting our fabric! 😂 Thanks - the hair is great for winter but I think I want it just slightly longer . . . we always want what we don't have! It'll get there fast, though - I predict shoulder length by February 💇‍♀️ Love you too! I know you're panicked but I sure miss you! 😘

Your hair is adorable! It is so flattering on you Jen, I think it takes 10 years off. You put in a full day shopping and I don’t know where you got the energy to do all that. But we will find the energy to do it when we get together again for sure! That cape is going to be fabulous, and your daughter is going to be gorgeous in it. I really hope we get to see the Christmas shirts on you and I am now inspired to make one of my own I haven’t been in the sewing room in a really long time and perhaps it’s time to get cracking. The book sounds really good and I need to read that. I always enjoy your little bit of Jesus and that verse and Luke was very timely for the holidays and truly nothing is impossible with God love and miss you and can’t wait for us to get together after the holidays.❤❤❤❤

My great grandmother & grandfather were from Sarasota Florida. I haven’t done much sewing either due to all the medical stuff. I actually had to go today for a MRI. Next week looks pretty clear and I plan on doing a lot of sewing. I need to go to Joann fabrics and get some things. I have to say with all that has gone on my sewing brain just isn’t there. Hopefully with getting back to it and reviewing videos it will return.

It was so strange - there were two women there talking to each other and they'd lapse from German to English seamlessly. I'd think I was hearing German and then it would be English. So weird!
