I try to do a crockpot meal since prep day gets pretty busy! We like Mississippi roast 😋 I never thought about doing challah with sourdough. Thanks for the idea!

This coming year I have decided to start intentionally observing the Sabbath and having Erev Shabbat dinner every week. I'm a non-denominational Christian, so this isn't something I've really seen, and I don't know personally know any Christians who do this, but I feel like the Holy Spirit is calling me to do it. I did have a few Erev Shabbat dinners last year, but I was very inconsistent. I did notice that I missed it when I wasn't doing it and I truly enjoyed it when I was. I had a really hard year last year, and the weeks I did it it really helped give me something to look forward to. I am really enjoying your videos on how you prep and what you do.

Many blessings with your Sabbath journey!! All throughout the book of Acts, you’ll notice the disciples are keeping the Sabbath. Our Creator made it FOR US that we will be refreshed! (Exodus 23:12, Exodus 31:17, Mark 2:27). 🙌 🙌

We like a roast for Shabbat, mostly happens. I have never thought of the same Shabbat meal every week - until now!! I think you have a good idea there, so maybe it will be chicken, and I won't have to think of all the choices we have. That sounds strange, but we are spoiled for choice.!! So a different dessert each weeK. Thank you Raquel, at my age you have shown me a better way!! Blessings to your sweet family. ❤ 👩🦽

Awesome meal...our go to is either a roast and veggies or roast and veggies. Always challah bread, a salad or two....then a simple dessert.

There may be videos like this in the future. I have a lot of ideas for videos that fall under my ‘Biblically clean kitchen’ category. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Ben Starr has given me a whole new perspective on sourdough. Check him out! He's a bread genius!

I will!! I’ve been doing sourdough for about 9 years now, but I told my husband last night that I think I’m going to start experimenting with it again. Add-ins/inclusions, baguettes, etc. So your recommendation is perfect timing! Thank you!!
