It took me to my 30s to realize that no serum, moisturizer or mask was going to fix what I messed up. Tanning, smoking, and not drinking enough water. But I also found plastic surgery and other things that same decade. Now I wear the lines as well as I can. But moisturizer is so important.

The best skin care is sunscreen, no smoking, drinking water and if one drinks coffee an additional two glasses and a positive attitude, so difficult in this time. I met an elderly woman with the most beautiful skin! She used crisco, a vegetable shortening and had stayed out of the sun! Botox is wonderful, and I have it about three times a year. And of course a moisturizer ❣️❣️but there are healing properties in different oils and topical serums. Guess I mean don’t be fooled by all of the false claims in skin care. If we could claim all of the benefits they say we would all look like we are in our twenties. I always enjoy your thoughtful postings❣️❣️

I find the simpler the skincare routine the better and I agree with your nonsurgical procedures seem to make the biggest impact. Sunscreen is the number one skincare I wished I had used in the 80’s instead of using baby oil and tanning myself to death! I’m 51 and I so appreciate a quiet life, I like my alone time although I’m somewhat of an extrovert there are times I go months with just strolling around on my 10 acres of land and I can’t be bothered with socializing. It’s definitely our age, maybe the fact is the older we get the more confident we are in who we are 😊 have a great week nisha!

Congratulations on the cabin, I have no doubt it will bring you so much joy. I agree with you about the creams, botox and fillers. I have had no choice but to use the diy approach myself. I would look 80 without them but I can’t afford the other route. You are right about what you said about if your not someone who can find the time or the dedication it requires to do it and stick to a routine their not worth it. Hi Nisha! I have had the same routine for several years! I use the same products and I have seen a big difference in my skin. But for wrinkles it's more complicated and I think that only tretinoin can make a big difference. But it must be prescribed by a dermatologist! I have been including retinol gradually for a month now! I know that the real effects will not be apparent for another six months. But already I notice that my makeup applies more easily. I think that keeping a routine with the same products for several years has helped me a lot. The pronounced wrinkles I have under my eyes will never go away completely and only surgery will make them disappear. But surgery under the eyes really scares me so I will continue to look for the grail in makeup! So glad to see Louis back in top shape! It's so nice to see him running free! xxx

Great video Nisha. Awww Louis is as gorgeous as ever. My son had to stop taking my dogs through Sherwood Forest which is close to me, because our Staffy would look for fox poop and roll in it, so needed a bath everytime she got home. The other 2 dont do that. The staffy is 11 now, he took her about 2 months ago and she still did it, so now when he takes her a walk they just go round the village. Xx

Hi Nisha, I've worked in beauty retail and got so much stuff for free which were high end and very expensive and never really found any to be wow!! I've lately been using Nivea (German one) and it's so lovely and is so nostalgic! Some say it's a dupe of some top end skincare products! I like to use oil cleansers, vit c serum and tret for evening which is proven to be excellent for anti-ageing, and of course SPF everyday, also love The Ordinary and Cerave, I seriously don't think you need to spend heaps on skincare and those that like them probably like the idea that it's doing something amazing but mostly it's because it feels and smells luxurious! I love bio stimulators that penetrate deeper into the skin - they obviously work way better than topicals imo! xoJoanxo

Totally agree with skincare - skincare is topical and it doesn't penetrate layers to change them on a permanent basis. If you have a skin care product you might notice your skin looks better and if you stop using it then your skin doesn't look so good. That's only the oil/water content plumping the skin temporarily and it only lasts for as long as you use it. Almost any product does the same. The only thing (I think) to decide is if you want to use products with more or less chemicals.

Good morning Nisha! Ooh I’m exactly the same as you! The older I get the more I love a quiet life. I find so much peace in just being at home going about my daily business . School run , housework food shopping, dog care etc . I do keep very busy with all that but even when it comes to the weekend I can’t be bothered going out in the winter at and we love our cosy nights in by the fire! My 17 year old is a professional rugby league player so as the season is upon us we will spend lots of time going to matches but that’s about it. We turn down nights out with friends cos like you dressing up is such a chore and it’s far less hassle to just stay in but I’m Happy with a simpler life.😊 I do love the results of that treatment Nisha , you really do look so Fresh! I hate buying bras 😩 they’re so expensive for a good one too. I rarely get it right . They feel lovely when I first get them then i Wear it for a bit and realise it doesn’t fit right or it rides up my back 🙄 I do love the brand Panache even thou they are expensive They are worth it when manage to find one I like. Nisha, your life is more exciting than mine. 🤣 I do even less, but hopefully better days are ahead of us. 💜 You’re skin is looking so good since your procedure ! I’m trying to keep my skincare as simple as possible, but I do use a red light therapy mask. It’s not too bad, just 10 minute treatments 4 days a week, but can get off track once in a while. It is a commitment. Still thinking on Botox, and filler, but have such a fear of needles. 🥺 You’re so brave, and it does make a noticeable difference. From my experience (I am 59) skin care is cumulative. You must consistently take care of your skin through the decades and your skin will look great as you age. I get complements quite frequently on how good my skin looks. Sun protection is key.

I'm Lazy & Cheap! LOL I have all kinds of gadgets taking up room in drawers!! Best Thing Ever was getting a subscription for Cureology! I don't think you have that exact company in the UK, but I know there is one. Tretinoin, Azelaic Acid & Niacinamide are all in my Rx. Every few days I skip it & do a Glycolic Acid treatment (The Ordinary) & every other month I do an AHA/BHA Peel (The Ordinary). Those have made the biggest difference in the skin on my face. My career was outdoors & I had HORRIBLE sun damage along with deep wrinkles from a difficult time I went through. The sun damage has significantly faded, as well as the wrinkles. My 11 is now just a soft 1😂 Not to bad for an almost 55 year old! I've never had cosmetic procedures or Botox, I suppose if it was super cheap, I'd be there in a heartbeat, but $300 4 times a year is not in the budget. Tell Paul Happy Birthday!! Watching Louie is serene, I miss our boxer. But not ready for another pet as we hope to make the trip to to the Northwest states this summer. And England in September. My mom was Polish and she had beautiful skin. She used Vaseline and the creams I got from LOreal where I worked. It's (good skin)a combination I think of reducing stress, sleep, food and moisturizers.

I think the skin care creams are for preventing wrinkles, not curing them once you have them, skin moisturisers also keep your face hydrated, lots of water is also important, i am 63 and great skin, i don't have a 11 on my forehead, i see people much younger having those lines, frowning a lot doesn't help, staying out of the sun, i do smoke, but not much at all, and those smokers lines above the mouth is a myth, not only smokers get them, i have seen plenty of non smokers get those lines too, botox is fine if you can afford it....

Hi nisha hope ur well, I totally agree with u that creams don’t take away wrinkles! I can’t put cream on every morning/night as it makes my skin so oily, 🤷‍♀️I do use serum under my eyes tho! I have to say that u don’t look ur age at all, omg I got fed up of rollers etc 🥴I had my Milani concealer and my Delilah foundation back 2 weeks ago, love them thanx to u👌something to look forward to nisha, I have my daughters wedding in September, doubt it if we go away before that! “Happy birthday Paul 🎂🍺”have a nice time at the restaurant, more comfortable for u with it nisha, saves ur neck which must b very painful, I’m looking for front fastening bras, my hands don’t work properly and very frustrated when I can’t do hooks🤦‍♀️ahh bless ur mam fair play, before I go I must say how lovely and healthy ur hair looks today, thank u for a great video, take care xx😘

I really love the Rosie bras from M&S. I’m an odd size as well 38B. I have quite a broad back but small cup size so it’s really hard to find anything that fits well. I live in Canada but most of my family lives in the UK so I stock up whenever I’m over!

OMG...This was so fun, like hangin out w/your bestie...so real and honest! I just finished watching a video comparison on "Tammy's ageless beauty" Nuface vs Truth Energy. I purchased the Nuface last yr during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. It took me ages to try it, because I, like you, am lazy and can't be bothered and it's heavy, so I finally returned it. I'm 72 w/great skin but certainly don't like the horrid turkey neck that sprang out seemingly lol overnight a couple of yrs ago. However, other than taking care of my skin, eating healthy, and walking I know I will just never take the time to use the "tools". Never had fillers or botox but am thinking of getting them for my forehead and between the eyes. Thx for sharing Louie and his luv of mud baths. Also thinking about getting a dog again...just like Louie wld be perfect!

Hi Nisha, My skin is a dried up mess. I have found a new product for me & It's call NIVIA/ smooth & highdrating lotion, for normal skin, & I really love It. In fact I just bought 3 large bottles. It works almost instantly. It obsores right away, no greasy, & smells heavenly. I even use It on my face! For instance, the skin on my fingers on the sides of my nails & toes gget so dry they feal like calises. So I'm constantly picking on them. which makes them really sore. the minute I have It on they soften to regular skin! I also can iche I start cracking till I make It sore, again. Put It on & It stops the inch & heals immediately. I have never found anything, anything before that works. Give It a try! Anyhow, Just a little tip that I thought I'd share with you! I agree no skin cream do much, just moisturise, the only thing that work's for me is retirides, it's retinol that you can only buy from a dermatologist which can cost over £ 100. But in Spain you can buy the retirides for around 15 euros, at most chemists and spf every day.
