I will never stop keto, low carb, some days carnivore, because of my intense fear of sticking an insulin needle in my arm several times a day. For me it's not about weight loss or how my clothes look, although all of that is better too. It's about keeping my A1c blood tests under diabetic levels. But like you said, everyone is different. Love from the U.S. 😘

Same for me! I learned about intermittent fasting and low carb (keto stye eating) for health reasons-as I was having symptoms of diabetes2😳😳😳 I wanted to reverse that-as the thought of insulin injections and losing limbs -scared me.☹️☹️☹️ I learned about 80% of the world population is insulin resistant and don’t even know it-as the medical systems focuses on the culprit glucose while insulin production gets out of hand trying to keep one’s glucose under control.😮😮😮 So it was definitely for health reasons I dived into studying keto and fasting 18/6 -on July 20th 2022. In only one month I was able to totally toss my BP meds after being on BP meds 20 years!!! Now at 5 months in I have lost 23 lbs and weigh 119 lbs at 5’ 5” and 75 years old. I will never go back to the poison of sugar, carbs, seed oils (processed foods). What I love best on keto/ fasting- I am NEVER hungry. 👍👍👍 and I was lifetime sugar addicted. You certainly have to be determined to change your eating lifestyle. I know because many I have tried to enlighten about sugar are just aren’t ready to let go yet. So I try to get them to try to at least cut back on sugar and carbs.👍👍👍 Everyone has to find the best path for themselves and it was easier to change my meals and fast than it is for many -as I am a widow and totally alone. If I had a partner or family to feed -this way of eating would have been a much much more difficult change. Best online docs that teach intermittent fasting and Keto style eating. Good luck to all whichever path they decide on. Dr. Jason Fung (board certified nephrology/kidney specialist-wrote the book “The obesity code”- lecturer on Type2 diabetes reversal/keto/ intermittent fasting Dr. Sarah Hallberg (board certified in internal medicine and obesity) -lectures on Type2 diabetes reversal) Dr. Ben Bikman (lab scientist-lecturer-wrote the book “Why we get sick”) Dr. Sten Ekberg (holistic sports medicine/ nutrition)-excellent teacher on nutrition). I turn up KZbin speed as he speaks even too slow for me. Dr. Pradip Jamnadas (board certified cardiologist and is a lecturer on heart health and insulin resistance/diabetes reversal) Dr. Ken Berry (general practitioner) wrote book “The LIES my Doctor Told Me”. Dr. Robert Cywes (Gastric By-Pass surgeon. Specializes on Carb addiction & obesity-lecturers on insulin resistance and reversing Type2 diabetes) Dr. Eric Berg (Chiropractor) nutritionist.

@@carolerichard5250 - I have Dr. Jason Fung's books on Type 2 diabetes and intermittent fasting; but I have never heard him talk about keto. I remember someone asked him about keto; he said he was into intermittent fasting; that that was his field and his concerns, but that he did not want to comment about keto.

Hi Nisha, Glad your new regime is working for you. Diets/calorie counting has never worked for me as I become even more obsessed with food and the whole process is way too boring. I eat what I want (in moderation), try and restrict wine to w.ends, bit of exercise, and more often than not try not to eat before 12.00. Intermittent fasting (for me) is brilliant. We all have to find our own groove with this. It really is about a life style choice and being consistent with it.

I hear you when it comes to restrictions in our diet. I have been studying nutrition for a long time and tried out many different ways of eating - not so much for weight loss but more for experimenting with which way of eating works best for my body. Cutting out basic things like carbs can be hard at times. just wanna mention one thing with calorie-restricting diets - It does messes with your metabolism in the long run and slows it down. It is just an evolutionary thing that the body starts to reduce its standard metabolic rate when you constantly stay in a calorie deficit due to a low-calorie intake. It sure works to lose weight but JoJo is inevitable the moment you stop restricting calories. The body goes into a self-protecting mode to save it from starving because at this point the body is not sure when it can expect sufficient calorie intake again. There is more Neandertal man in us than we think! :) So in the end you have to eat fewer and fewer calories over time to get the same benefits of weight loss because your body needs less and less calories for its normal activities. If you eat more calories but work it off due to sport it's a different story. ... Just food for your mind! :)

I couldn’t agree more with you; diet is not one size fits all. The important thing is to be healthy and we all know being overweight is not. So whatever diet works for you and to lose weight and feel healthy is what really matter. Thank you so much for sharing because it really is a struggle for most women ; especially with menopause and over 50 to lose weight. So truly thank you for helping us not to feel so bad with weight and hormonal issues. XXOO 💜💜💜

I’m so glad you brought calorie counting to the forefront of your diet talk. So many ppl want instant gratification and get frustrated and give up (I’ve done this so many times I can’t even count). Counting calories allows you to eat anything you want, but once those calories are “spent”, you’re done. Elimination diets don’t last because we are human. We need something sustainable. We need our chocolate and bread! You look great. Keep up the good work!

I basically have the same way of eating & fasting ( not a diet ) it has to be a way of life. No processed or fast food. There's nothing wrong with a black coffee in a morning to get through that fast. I don't do any carbs normally but sometimes if I fancy I'll have some good bread or a cake when I'm out. Menopause makes weight loss twice as hard but yes any exercise is key as you get older. Never weigh myself it's always a clothes thing and knowing when to rein it in...like you say it's not rocket science xx

Hi Nisha, I absolutely loved this video. Everything you say makes so much sense and I can relate to it all. Bloating is so uncomfortable and I think certain foods must contribute to this. I too have started watching my calories as well as limiting some foods that I feel contribute to the problem and I have also had success. I completely agree that we can't deprive ourselves of things we love, but we have to be very mindful of what we are putting in our mouths and if we over extend one day, its so important to get back on track in the next day or two. This is such a smart, common sense approach to weight loss and healthy eating. I so enjoyed your perspective on things and thanks so much for sharing with the rest of us!

Thank you for sharing, you are such an inspiration! I agree that at the end of the day it is all about calories in versus calories out. I am like you, and I don’t want to cut out any food groups. I also don't want to buy any 'weird' ingredients that cost a lot of money but I will only use in one recipe! Also I have a family to feed and cutting out food groups would affect them and they would not like it. I just recently got on weight watchers and I am learning that the little things we eat add up quickly (esp. snacks). I want to stay healthy, make healthy choices that will work for me now that I am 50. thank you again, Nisha!

Hi Nisha! I'm sure your good advice will help many people. I personally have never been on a diet. Everything I eat is homemade and I never buy prepared meals. I haven't made dessert in years! But I have never had a big problem with my weight. I eat a lot of vegetables but a little less fruit. I take a medication that makes many people gain weight, but that is not my case. This summer I did eat a little more ice cream but in the winter I never eat it. For several years now, I have only allowed myself a few chips and a drink like coke or pepsi on Saturdays and Sundays. I don't like alcoholic beverages so I never have them. I am also a romaine salad eater with a green apple. I cook with a good cold pressed olive oil and it has never made me fat. Since I have fibromyalgia and I have pain I haven't exercised this year! But I know for having done it some years that walking helps a lot for weight loss. My clothes that I love and that I have had for many years still fit me so I tell myself that I am lucky! Have a good week xxx

Hi nisha hope ur well, I’m so happy for u on the weight loss, u look fabulous! I have never been on diet as my metabolism was so fast, with my training in younger days I was in the gym every day, I was a sprinter and was very proud to have Welsh vest at 12 years old, so working out was in the blood! I’ve never had to watch what I eat it would go on my skin! But I’ve always had breakfast (even if I wasn’t hungry)as it started my metabolism! Menopause!!!!I’ve turned back to a teenager without the spots😂😂I take my hat off to u nisha for counting calories, that’s 1 thing I couldn’t do. Eat clean in week and eat what I want weekend! They say to eat little and often but each to they’re own isn’t it, we all know what’s good or bad for us, everything in proportion I guess,I’m piling on the pounds now with menopause just around the middle area😬🤦♀️I can’t walk or train as my knees and back are basically buggered😬I’m so jealous of ppl that go to the gym as I loved it! Never deprive urself of anything nisha, if u want it eat it! Ur obviously doing it well and it works for u it’s plain to c! Carry on the good work, thank u for a great video, take care xx😘

Nisha, great video you are so honest and adorable.. I do intermittent fasting for 18 hours, not because diet just because I’ve never been a breakfast person . So my first meal of the day is between 1230 to 1pm in the afternoon. I eat healthy balance meal but I don’t deprived myself from any group of food. Now having said this I did cut out sugar and a lot of carbs in my everyday diet. I have lost weight but I don’t count calories it’s just not for me. Glad you feel better and motivated that’s the key. I’am like you I could never be in Keto just because I love my carbs once in a while.

Hi Nisha! I couldn’t agree with you more about the calorie counting plus exercise as being the best way to lose weight. My father was a physician back in the day and he counseled his patients this way. I learned from him and this has always been a successful way for me to maintain an ideal weight. It is a useful tool because once you learn your caloric output then its easy to monitor your caloric intake! You become aware of just what your body needs and no more. Xoxo 😘 Deb

I really hear what you're saying, Nisha! But calorie counting never worked for me, but I do believe that we have to know our bodies. And I've come to appreciate that for me, moderation is key. I'm more concerned about reducing salt intake, etc, and I don't cut out snacking all together, I just change what I snack on! I have a dietitian that I see once every 2 months and he is really helpful when it comes to understanding caloric intake as well as what foods and snacks would be best for my individual needs. I think a person's individual health level is also important to understand because depending on the health level, it can predispose a person to a specific kind of diet for weight loss. And you're right, weight loss and dieting is an enormous business. And you really have to find the right regimen to keep yourself healthy without going overboard. If the scales tip out of balance too often, we're going to be sick, and nobody wants that! I love how you talk to your audience Nisha...you talk to us like you're talking to a good friend on the phone! It's great. You have a very comforting disposition and for that I just love you and your channel. Best wishes to you. 💕

Hi Nisha, I totally agree on calories in, calories out, and that’s the only way I can lose, without feeling deprived. Everyone is different as far as what works for each of us. I found a good App that helped me track everything. It was so easy that way, and I didn’t need to keep a written journal, just scanned the package of prepared foods, and put in the serving, and it calculated it. Whole foods had to weigh the serving, but I eat the same things mostly so that does help, and all the food I eat is stored in the App, so easy to find next time I eat it. To lose weight I have to stay at 1000-1100 cals. a day. The app had me at 1600 a day, but that was way off. I experimented, until I found what works. I’ve always had a slow metabolism even when I was younger and working out a lot. My motto is, slow and steady wins the race !

Calories in calories out has been proved to lower metabolic rate. Your body gets used to the calories you eat , becoming more efficient at managing on less calories. You end up having to go lower and lower ( think The Biggest Loser tv programme) There hasn’t been a follow up programme because they all put the weight back on !

Each to their own own when it comes to trying to lose weight but I'm with you and count calories. I also weigh myself rather than measure as I'm rubbish at that even though some find it simple - not me lol. I've not been able to exercise the last few months which has been very frustrating but I've found it hard to eat less than i would if I was active. I must try harder though as I'm putting back the pounds that I worked so hard to lose last 18 months and maintained. Every pound shows on my small frame 🤦♀️ you look great now as you are 🙂 x

Great tips, Nisha! A while back I lost a lot of weight with fasting, but gained most of it back during the pandemic. Like you, I enjoy fasting for the health benefits, but we can definitely overeat in our window and make it all for naught. I think you hit on something important in the way you manage your daily calories. There is a good bit of evidence that calorie cycling (varying your daily calories) works better than eating the same amount every day. Our bodies are smart and adapt quickly, but if we keep it guessing and change things up occasionally, we lose better/faster. It sounds like you’re doing this naturally with some higher and lower days thrown in. I like that approach a lot. Thank you for sharing your method. You are beautifully sim and fit!

Yes, that's what I found...body thinks there's a famine, so it slows down...I've found higher calories for a day or two then low calories for 2 or 3 days. Fruit for a meal, veg for a meal, then a normal mixed ordinary day.. its slow, but it's been working.

I could never follow a 'diet'. I'm too old now not to eat what I want! I just kind of make a mental note that if I ate a doughnut one morning as a treat rather than my usual branflakes I need to make an extra effort to have a low calorie evening meal. Two meals a day - 10.00 am ish and 5.30 pm ish works really well for me.

Hi Nisha! You look great with the weight loss (and before it too!). I think as a society we are moving less and less, a somewhat lazier generation, and this has really caused concern. Processed foods and snacks too are fairly new since 40 years ago when the population was thinner overall. I'm trying to do my stationary bike for at least 10-15 mins a night whilst watching TV and stopped alcohol, which is 300+ calories a drink. I'm stable and will make more adjustments, but cannot do anything extreme or I won't stay with it. I've not heard of that sausage you love more than cake. I have a sweet tooth so I'd eat the cake and not that sausage for sure. : )

I am 66 years old and have struggled with weight loss all my adult life. Losing 11lbs is wonderful. I have now found the only way I am able to loose weight (so far I have lost 2st) is to weigh everything I eat, except vegetables. I do not eat anymore than 100 grams of any food item and check the nutrient guide on all packets, biscuits, sweets, crisps, chocolate etc. I eat 10 grams, so I am still having a treat but I know exactly how much I am having. It might not work for everyone but I would suggest it is worth a try. 💐💐

I developed arthritis from a life of eating unhealthy and it's been a challenge to change my diet, but I hit rock bottom and have no choice now. I will say that it's a myth that fruit bloats. It only bloats if there isn't proper food combination. Fruit wants to cleanse and push out junk, and is high water, so it has to be eaten a few hours after a heavy meal, or 30 minutes before a non-ifruit meal. in 1987 I read a book called, Fit For Life, by Maralyn Diamond. I start eating a piece of fruit in the morning, one piece each hour until I have lunch. After a few days I started to stink as my body was flushing. The problem is I ate a lot of bread and butter and cheese, and that was my downfall for me. If you eat fruit in the right combination it will reduce bloat because it is nature's cleanser. But if not combined properly it will bloat, for example in France if you eat a piece of fruit after a meal they will say noooo. It causes gas and bloat if not combined. Even a banana before an orange is not a good combination because the banana is dense and the orange will try to push past it, causing a disruption of gas and bloat. Different fruits have to be eaten separate from other fruit.

Just to see wth happens

Yes I agree, no matter how you want to loose weight, it is and always has been to lose weight, energy in, has to be less than out. If you want to maintain the same diet, you need to increase the energy output.
@lynettefinnigan9540 Жыл бұрын
Well done...I have to agree, you just have to have less calories going in than energy burning them up..but I have a very resistant metabolic body, I will loose weight for a little while then it stops, my body realises that it's in a 'famine' and compensates and runs on less calories. I get very tired, extremely exhausted, easily run down and get colds and stuff, so I have to change what I'm eating and weight creeps back on. I lost 12 kg last year..lost 1kg per month (easy to put on though 2kg in 2 weeks over Christmas!!) But I have managed to get that off again. I swim 3 times a week and gym once a week. ... and light breakfast and dinner, my main meal is lunch so I have time to burn off the calories...this has been the best success so far for me, but again I agree with you, what works for one doesn't always work for another, you do have to work out what is your right mix .... anyway.... you are looking great Nisha 👍 👌 😍

Hey Nisha, thanks for sharing your story. You look FANTASTIC 😍 You are so right. Keto doesn't work for everyone & u actually can easily put on weight. I don't care who says what, that high fat doesn't let u go in calorie deficit. A small amount of food is already high calorie. So I ditched it.Now I eat lots of veggies,Greens, salad ,with good amount of protein & I avoid added fat(oils...etc). I won't go back to carbs of course since I'm 47 but no more keto😉 I did keto along intermittent fasting for 2 years & I can say I didn't melt like other people so I'm done. This method of lower calorie & less fat just works & I workout every single day. I don't eat first thing in the morning. So it's still fasting but not OMAD or 2 meals a day. I avoid snacking & I eat diner at 5:30 & that's it,until the next day around noon. So bottom line, everyone is different & you should find what works for your body 🤗

I started intermittent fasting early May - my shorts are very loose on me now. I eat only from 2pm to 7pm - drink water and black tea with no sugar until then. It's the easiest way I have found to lose weight - I even have a treat each night and mostly eat what I want. It took a few weeks before I didn't feel super hungry in the morning till 2 - but now I have no problem with it at all.

I agree totally - after a few weeks your body gets used to you breaking your fast later. I never even think about early breakfast now.

I write my calories in a book and lost 3 stone like this ! I am on about 1000 a day some days I go over but cut back the next , it works for me too . You look fabulous , where did you get your top ? its lovely xxx I also walk dogs daily and swim 20 lengths every morning .

Hello beautiful, I just subscribed as your video was recommended to me and I’m now going to binge watching more of them :) for this whole video though I was thinking to myself “is she Polish?” because I couldn’t believe how amazing you look in that embroidered top/dress, it matches you perfectly and then you said about kabanos so my intuition wasn’t wrong ☺️ Anyway, great video and I’m curious to find more about how you take care of yourself because you are honestly stunning. I don’t know how I didn’t come across your channel earlier because I regularly watch women over 40 and older for any advice, etc but better later than never❤️

Hi Nisha you are definitely looking fabulous. Love that shirt and your lipstick. Everything you said made sense. I can tell with my clothes if they are a bit tighter then l know to cut out something l am eating. I think housework and a big garden helps to keep my weight down. I do like to walk. Great video Nisha.💜💜

Calorie deficit is the correct way. Total no brainer and common sense in my opinion. Calories in vs calories out. Also intermittent fasting is extremely beneficial for a number of health reasons/issues and not just for weight loss. On another note, where is your top from I love it!! xx

Thanks for this very informative video. I have never been overweight but my downfall is snacking after dinner. I eat healthy during the day but I know I need to change my eating habits late at night. I can't intermittent fast because I have a good metabolism and my doctor checked my iron was very low due to this method so I had to stop very dangerous due my higher metabolism. I also am on maintenance weight. I do exercise at home so lucky I am disciplined that way. My Mantra daily is Workout your mind then body will follow. Going through menopause now 55years young I workout for my mental wellness is key. Usually 80/20 diet works for me. But you do you your way. Enegry in verse energy out put. I never count calories. You look great darling your my inspiration. Take Care. Coming from Beautiful Macedon Ranges Victoria Australia.💪👍🤩⚘🌷🌻💖❤

I have lost 16 1bs since end of April this year and its all because of calorie counting! My food isn’t boring and its healthy with the treats at weekend but by calorie counting I’m not overeating. If I have sauces I tend to round the calories up if I’m not sure. I move more. I try not to eat after 6pm at night and then I have breakfast after 9am. I’ve cut down on bread, pasta etc but I’ve not eliminated anything. For me, writing down what I eat and calories per item has been beneficial in the weight I’ve lost. I didn’t realise I was consuming between 2-2500 cals per day before April. I’m going abroad on hols next week for 1 week and generally will try to guess the cals but I will still and have fun but try to eat and drink moderately 👍

be-careful the only thing you should be watching is carbs science are realising there is no such thing as calorie , every food is going to react differently in every persons body, and who decides the calories in food, you are eating lots of protein, fat, very little sugar i think thats why you are losing weight, which is fantastic so happy for you, its carbs that put weight on, i have done heaps of research, as they told me i was pre diabetic and by cutting sugar i am managing it, if i was to count calories, i could eat lots of sugar, and still only have 1200 calorie aday, this may help someone, cheers

You are 100% correct about the calories in vs calories out. I have always believed that. However when I eat low carb I Tend to fill up quicker and it lasts longer -especially keto. When I did keto and intermittent fasting it was the easiest I have ever lost weight. But in the past I didn’t have as much of a sweet tooth as I do now. I blame it on my sister because when she comes she brings a lot of sweets, lol. I do realize that she does not stuffed them down my throat but if they’re around I am going to eat them. It’s ridiculous. But you have inspired me to have another go at it. We will see. Lisa Lisa D1 sure has done a good job with her diet. And I love steak but there’s no way I could eat that every night. and yes I very much enjoyed this video. Thanks have a good rest of your week.

I agree, it's about burning up the calories consumed. I remember Sylvester Stallone years ago put out a book and he said eat your ice cream but do it earlier in the day so you can burn off the calories. The number of times I forget things upstairs has me going up and down 15 steps about 10 times a day. But I also think as you mentioned to limit food I take at 6 pm. I will have fruit maybe later but I try to not eat too late. It's not good for me and the bloating does happen then eating later. But you look wonderful and it shows.

O! Nisha! I've been on the run all day, getting a job, running around medical offices, and just now I opened KZbin. You look very good. I started intermittent fasting, counting calories and the amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. On the site (there are a lot of them), they wrote me the amount of everything that I should consume per day, plus 30 ml of liquid per 1 kg of weight, I have a little carbohydrate breakfast, then I have ☕coffee, in between I constantly drink water, at 3 o’clock I drink four protein from boiled eggs, a little salt, you can drink hot tea, tied up with sugar, that's it. And if after three I'm hungry, I can afford a cucumber, one banana a week, and water, water, water, by the evening yesterday I began to weigh less than in the morning. If I move a little and I have a slow metabolism, then I need to eat 1100, and sometimes less kcal per day. But in a week I threw off 2 kg. I also began to do homework, put on headphones, turn on the music and for 30 minutes I squat, swing my arms, legs, torso, and walk in place, like a soldier, for ten minutes sweat runs down my face. Thank you. Hormone therapy is good, if the doctor recommends, then it is necessary. Good luck everyone! 😘ХХХ ❤❤❤I wrote with a translator, sorry if that.

Phew I finally managed to get through this since starting yesterday on and off 😩 Nisha I do pretty much the same thing. 4 yrs ago I’d gained quite a lot of weight and had just turned 50 . My perimenopause symptoms were through the roof and I had no energy and was starting to feel old as I struggled to get out of bed. So enough was enough I started using the app my fitness pal and joined an exercise class twice a week. At first I was on 1200 cals and I stuck to it rigidly for about 4 months till I lost the bulk of my weight then I sort of plateaued and started reading about intermittent fasting and that it can be good for the gut i think it was Michael Moseley and he also did a programme about it . So then I’d lost so much weight and decided I was going to start having a treat night which was a Friday I had a takeaway and found it made no difference to my weight. Long story short now I just want to maintain weight and so I eat twice a day from 12 till 5 Monday to Friday then come the weekend I’ve got to a point I can eat what ever I want . I think I gain a couple of pounds but then go back to intermittent fasting and lose it again come Friday . Basically I stay the same weight each week but had to be more rigid to lose the bulk . I still exercise and that has really helped my meno symptoms so it’s win win and I can’t stress enough how important exercise has been for me and helps me feel much younger as I’m not puffing and panting if I run up the stairs and im happy to say I can jump out of bed in the mornings at 54 😂 I don’t eat anything sweet or snack Monday to Friday but like I say I eat what I want sat and Sunday and it suits me down to the ground and has just become my way of life after going on every diet known to man in the past , this takes no thinking about and it’s second nature now. Like you say Nisha eat less move more it’s really not Rocket science but takes will power if you want it badly enough. All I know is I want to keep feeling like this and not how i did 4 yrs ago and it keeps me going 😊 really great vlog Nisha you look beautiful today 😍

Hi Nisha Just make sure you get enough healthy fats and protein. The keto app I use does count your calories. You are limited on your calorie intake too which I agree is important. I also interment fast too and find it to help a lot. I have lost 3 lbs in 5 days with the app I'm using. I realized I was taking in too much protein and not enough fat. There is no elimination of any foods with keto, with the exception of junk food

Err, cake, salted nuts, biscuits, cheese, wine. My cupboards will be bare. Seriously though calories mean nothing at this time of life, it's all about cortisol and insulin, once you control those you are in with a chance. I got the kabanos love from my Polish sister in law.

You are on .25 estrogen and not having night sweats? Wow that is good. I had to have alot more. My hormone doctor says 2mg. per day is optimum for women my age (52). I also heard that you need at least 1mg. per day to prevent bone loss and dementia, but of course, you never know who to believe so I just believe my doctor :)

A .25mg patch probably provides the equivalent of a 1mg daily tablet though. It's not easy comparing patches with pills and gels.

The only thing that ever worked for me is "Fit for Life". I've tried keto (when I was on it it worked, after that my bloating started - and I still am bloated and have a hard time loose water in my body; tried other lifestyle changes but it didn't work) Fit for Life though is really working. And at the same time I am exploring electrolytes and which salt is the best - and how much I should drink each day. I'm sure I get it right this time. The water build up, bloating and blocked gut is the worst.

You & I are so much a like with the food. I have said the exact same thing as you. I just said it the other day to my husband. I’m not a foodie. I said if I didn’t have to eat to survive I probably wouldn’t eat that much! 😆 We go out to eat a lot but it is more the social part of it for me. I do really like Mexican food. I could probably eat it everyday but there isn’t really any one food that I’m ever dying to have! I’m not a huge fan of meat either. I don’t hate meat or dislike it I’m just like it’s protein. Lol If I get fat, gristle or veins I’m done! Can’t eat it! I would NEVER be able to go on an all meat diet. I did Keto once for a week & lost 7 lbs but I got sick & it kind of fell apart. But the keto diet in my opinion is NOT sustainable or healthy. You are absolutely correct. If you want to lose weight you have to eat in a deficit & exercise is so important. Some movement whatever it might be. What works for one person might be completely different for someone else. I have counted calories before. I have the app on my phone but I find RIGHT NOW I don’t really need to use it anymore. But that may change in the future. You’re looking as beautiful as ever & I’m glad you are feeling better!

Great for you. You are doing great things to lose weight. I don't even have exercise much right now due to Osteoarthritis in both hips.I am going to get cortisone injection in my right hip. This all involved after a total hysterectomy. I have 6 fibroid tumors and one left ovarian cyst. I am on Premarin 0.625 mg now. I am very down and blue plus I live in Nevada, the climate is very hot to be walking. It's also our monsoon season and it is quite humid. I hope to do better after my injections.
