YOU make an enemy for my INDIE GAME - 1K ART COMPETITION and Game Design Challenge - JOIN NOW

To CELEBRATE 1K subs on my channel I'm hosting an art design challenge where anyone can submit an enemy design that might get used in my game!
This video is relevant no matter what software you use (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Playmaker, Adobe Substance, Blender, etc.) as it's mainly just about design and concepting, so no one should feel excluded! This isn't a Devlog like I often make but is relevant to artists of any sort: 3D or 2D.
My own game was a Kickstarter backed indie game called Toby's Topsy Tale and I often share advice I learned while developing this game, so sub for more content like that!

Is this gonna be paid at all? I know it's meant innocently, but if you're selling a product it can get insanely messy to run these kinds of contests with no compensation or legal binding.

It's not- so whoever is in the final round will have to be ok with that agreement before I add it to the list. I feel that that's sort of implied but I will specify it specifically for anyone who might win

@@3gnomesgames909 By "messy," I moreso mean that you can be screwed over pretty quickly. If you're just using Discord messages, the legality is (at best) very gray. If the winner decided they wanted financial compensation even literal years from now, they could have a case against you. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't do this at all, but you should definitely look at templates online for actual artistic release forms. They are relatively easy to find and use. It sounds kind of overkill, but you really gotta get that kind of stuff involved as soon as you use anyone else's work in a paid product. I've seen legal disputes happen over much less in my work, and they can completely wreck interpersonal relationships.
