Have you considered the IGN guy who put the screenshots and videos up is the real MvP. He was forced to praise it because otherwise his editor would rip him apart. But he put in screenshots and videos highlighting all the flaws.

@@GauravMahajanAvaron Tbh they did to Qunari same crime as Inquisition did .. they try to make them look more human .. again. Best qunari design was in DA II where qunari looked nothing like humans.

For me, Veilguard looks like a step down from the previous Dragon Age games. But if you think it looks interesting, then I'm happy for you.

If i wake up tomorrow and all the trailer footage ive seen is satire and they were making a bad joke than proceeded to realese footage of a game that looks like a modern mix of origins and 2 than id be exited but since thats obviously not gonna happen,... no im not exited... Ps they talk about varric and solas cause they are two of three only good characters that look like there gonna be in the game (the third is Morrigan) all im gonna say is that the best characters in the dragon age franchise were made by people who no longer work there, and they say its a good character creator but we've seen the footage and know a bunch of their sliders have very little effect

@@averagelok1959 i understand why people aren’t excited. BioWare isn’t what it used to be. Gameplay was buggy that I noticed. Visuals are damn near gross. But I want to give it a chance. If it sucks ill gladly dunk on it in my review, so me personally I’m going in ready for whatever

@GarethOfByzantium and the first thing she said to describe the character was his sexuality calling him a "bisexual mess" real people who introduce themselves with their sexuality aren't interesting how can you expect a fictional one to be good. Mary may be a good writer, but even Stephen King writes bad books sometimes. The likelihood of delmorte being a good character is slim to none

This game has nothing to do with Dragon Age, it's horrible, everything is so goofy even the monsters, they changed the art, they changed the colours, they made everything so lgtb even asking for pronouns at the character creation and including trans cirgury scars (LOL), they changed the combat style, you can't control your companions, etc, they killed everything that made Dragon Age, Dragon Age... 2/10 being generous.

Whether the art style looks good or not is subjective so isn't a valid criticism, and the combat is arguably far better than any of the previous Dragon Age games. I even have a fresh perspective on that as I've been playing each game in preparation for Veilguard. Inquisition's combat, for example, is so goddamn slow and tedious. I never once controlled my companions in any of the games except for maybe during dragon fights. So I don't see any issue with them actually creating a system that's going to make me give my companions more commands. But let's be fair, your main reason for hating the game is the trans scars and pronouns. I've still yet to see any criticism of the game's systems or visuals without someone throwing this one in and frothing at the mouth while trying to conceal their shame boner. If that's really all it takes to make you hate this game then you need to go touch some of that juicy green stuff outside. Trust me, life's so so much better without being hateful.

@@TwoPercentViking So I mentioned 6 things that bother me about the game, and you only focus on one because that's what weird people does... i literrally explained why it has nothing to do with the Dragon Age saga, and you got triggered by one aspect... i would say grow up, but it seems you never did.

@@j.reyes21 and I explained away your other points. You know as well as I do that your hate for LGBTQ and inclusivity is what’s driving your overall hate for the game. Get over the fact that not everyone is like you and that these inclusions aren’t impacting your game as they are purely optional and haven’t detracted from any other features. They are additions not replacements.

@@TwoPercentViking Nope, you didn't explained anything, i love Dragon Age since it's launch in 2009, all i did was objective criticism about aspects of the game that got mutilated in this new piece of crap. The essence of the game is gone, this is not Dragon Age, it doesn't matter how many times you say YOU liked it. Oh and it's really clear that you never played Dragon Age, because we were already playing with gays and lesbians characters back then, actually my first run was with a lesbian archer, so try to make up new reasons, i only mentioned that point because is stupid to add it to a videogame and has nothing to do with DA, it's only propaganda.

What does "WOKE" mean? yall hear things online being used incorrectly and run with it. the game is INCLUSIVE, thats fine. what is wrong with trying to make a character that represents what you want to be.

@@21DubloH If they're a man and they want to pretend to be a woman, then RPGs already had that... you could just pick a woman! But they want to make a big deal out of it and play the victim card. Meanwhile they focus on the woke stuff and forget to make an engaging and deep story... they also worry they might offend people. Their priorities aren't where they should be, they lack vision. They don't care about the world they're creating as long as its woke. Also: For something to be woke it means that it has elements of promoting this constant victimhood mentality, this forced inclusivity BS where things don't need to make sense but rather adhere to the agenda.(LGTV, BLN, femininis) Ex: 1. In a world of magic you still cut your boobs and it leaves scars. 2. It's supposed to be a gritty medieval world, but we have girl-bosses running around. 3. Again if you want to be the other gender, pick the other gender and you'll be treated as the other gender. But that's not the point now is it? 😉

@@21DubloH They could have put the top surgery scars with all the rest but they had to put them standalone on a separate toggle to virtue signal, let's not pretend there's not a clear reason for that. It doesn't impact my game so I don't care but it doesn't make sense in a world without modern surgery and trans people don't want scars reminding them they weren't born as the gender they identify as. So yes, it's a woke shallow token and very out of touch with the community they claim to support.

@Kross415 virtual signaling is lying to certain demographic pretending to care about them for clout. Some of Bioware staff and fanbase are that same demographic. The lead director is transgender, one vid of an actual transgender fan praised the top surgery option that anti-woke channels keep using. So not out of touch with that community when those from it are happy about it.

ehh I dont really character about body type 2 customizations since in a ROLE PLAYING GAME; I dont play a woman because i'm a man? especially in a Bioware game where they make characters strictly straight or gay. IF you make a girl doesnt that mean youre just forced to romance/rizz up a man?

@@ANilahAtion It did, but I think, from what I've heard, they've gone back towards player-oriented sexuality. I see the good and the bad in that, but for the most part at least it gives everyone more options.

@@ANilahAtion They messed up in Inquisition adding on top of straight/homosexual the race option. So if you say played qunari woman and wanted to be straight your options were only Iron Bull or Blackwall. Similar issues occured with straight male Inquisitor, as Vivienne is not romancable. All my brother had I believe was Josephine and Cassandra to choose from. I am glad they returned to Dragon Age II idea of romances, where they romance more personality based Hawke, rather then checkboxes with gender and race.

Why does every game need inclusion of less than .01% of the population? When you put inclusion above gameplay and story. Yes. I hate inclusion in my games. Edit: No one plays video games for inclusion. When you see those multi-hour long video essays on games, people loved from their childhood. "Inclusion" is never mentioned. Just say you're a brainwashed Lil pup.

@@Bustaperizm whoever said they put it over gameplay? I’ve read a couple early impressions and people are saying the combat is pretty good. I respect you more for straight up saying you don’t like inclusion. But that’s just like me wanting more haircuts for BLACK characters. I just want my character to look how I would want them. My whole problem with the “INCLUSION WARRIORS” is the fact they look at character creation and instantly call the game ass. What’s wrong with having a good custom creation system.
