Those are looking cheapest as hell . but I do like the v-series ratchets . Even if they are sealed heads. It blows me away that it looks like the v-series line of tools is going away

I bought a bunch of V Series over Christmas on clearance. Excellent quality for a low price. Nothing to complain about there.

I don't care for craftsman as a brand, but the craftsman overdrive box wrenches are very nice and have become my go-to.

I have the 61 piece 3/8 and 20 piece 1/4 both with low profile ratchets and they are great honestly. I know a lot of people talk down on craftsman but their new stuff from Lowe’s/Ace has been great quality for me. I’ve already used their stuff on small blocks Chevy motors, oil changes, and on my 59 Chevy and IMO great bang for the buck and well built Taiwan stuff. Their 6 point sockets come in no skip sizes for V series and 6 point doesn’t leave my Fastners looking as chewed up as my 12 point sockets. Getting harder and harder to find 6 point. I love craftsman. I even got the 15 piece no skip metric and sae wrench sets.

Ho cercato di impressionare il mio ragazzo con uno spogliarello. Stava andando bene finché non sono scivolata sui miei stessi vestiti e sono atterrata a faccia in giù sul letto. Una mossa facile, vero🐱

😎 Honestly... I don't. Ever since Sears closed down.... it's a pain in the butt to exchange/replace tools online. I'd rather deal with my local Harbor Freight with the ability to exchange tools.

I haven't had a problem with warranty replacements with my local Ace except for the rare occasion they happen to be out of stock, and SBDs call center has taken care of me very easily as well.

While I am still disappointed in the COO of the SBD Craftsman lineup, Ive been fairly impressed with the quality and performance of most of the tools, specifically the ratchets. I'm not s huge fan of the sauare handle, and it seems really awkward on the roto ratchets. But overall they are good designs that feel and perform better than the old Sears lineup.

Did you use to do a radio show, on automotive repair, on 700 wlw back in the day? Your voice is very familiar

Why I don’t care for craftsman? Cause they had a massive opportunity to begin remaking products in the US. And for some reason a multibillion dollar company decided they couldn’t do it so they just shut the brand new factory down. I never cared for craftsman tools anyways. My father has USA made craftsman but never anything to be excited over. Don’t care for raised panel grips. Wrenches seemed soft. I liked the US screwdrivers and sockets.

Now I can afford Craftsman, I don't.

If anything, Craftsman just seems very confused. They can't seem to make up their mind on who they want to be and who their target demographic is. They constantly rebrand themselves and have too many lines of products. I think it causes confusion and puts people off. I have a bunch of their stuff, new and old and I wish they'd make up their mind and stick to it.

A speed wrench, so antiquated.

Over priced Taiwan and Chinese made tools. Lowes is also inconsistent with the warranty. Capri, Icon, and Tekton are better choices.
