@@awesomestrawberry1348 he talks about it because he is a psychologist. He is curious to know what was the most real thing in this world. Stories gives abstraction on how to live and stories are embedded in religion. We act on that. So that's why he has tilt toward religion to explain how human evolved and how nature has shaped us.

Humans are not easily broken. That's one of the greatest misconceptions in the modern day. Everyone discusses their problems their feelings, depressing thoughts, negative experiences as if we all need help or a diagnosis. 6days per week 26 years straight? we were 3 children and 1 mother. she worked 5 days a week and she didnt have 10% of the energy to give us any time she had left over. I was forgotten cause she didnt have the time to learn to raise a boy. my sisters got the minimum of her experience and at least some advice but also almost non existent. we are all 3 broken people in our own ways. i have no family 1 sister has a child from another guy and now a new one and o hope it will last, the other is taking antidepressants cause her husband is never home from work and she is going crazy in the house alone with the kid and work. I would trade my mothers attention for anything. not like a single parent will buy you everything, you anyway gonna know what poor is. By your lack of self-awareness makes me think this feminism cycle is just continuing. Very very few men can raise a single child alone with their 5x energy levels and calmer emotions why do women insist on ruining children's lives? i am pretty sure transgenders showed how much more powerful men are. not only that but men know how to save time and don't need validation from others from wasting time on makeup n shit. A single women will never have time for her kids cause she is a women and she would never sacrifice everything just for the kids, they always hope for better so they keep up the appearances everything is fine while men don't care about that. they take care of the priorities. if i could get at least half of the time my mother spent on make-up or on tv exhausted i would maybe be normal.

Absolutely true. Add to this, that people can be different, in different environments and with other people and that people are different, through different phases during life. My mother seemed the perfect person, to myself and others, until she began to age. As per the events of her life and the aging process, she became a treacherous person on a mission to destroy herself and daughters. It can take many years and decades to “think” you know someone, yet still not know them. Everyone masks (fronts). You don’t really know how happy or angry they really are. I’ve seen those commercials about depression, where people are putting up smiley signs in front of their faces. Particularly in the workplace, that is exactly what happens.

I understood at 3 years old that each individual in the family had their own issues because of assumptions and presumptions and fears I learned profile people at a very young age and I learned not to judge people from there actions because of things that they had gone through, and if they didn't have a chance to communicate how they felt about the Terrible experiences they went through they only acted out those experiences in a means to protect themselves. My response to this was to be quiet and be observant and not to act out until I could learn to communicate verbally. In the meantime I tried to help keep the peace so there wasn't chaotic reactions to physical abuse or verbal abuse I would try to be The Peacemaker but without talking . That's what I learned. Everyone is different on how they handle situations. And how observant they become to see what people get offended by and what people are happy by and what types of events that happen in people's life that can affect them whether a positive or A negative weigh and how they deal with it going forward as in what they learn from it you know like a child learning to ride a bike and they fall and then learn to get their balance. Some fall more some fall rest some only once

@@thinkingagain5966 I don't now who I was responding to or what they wrote. All I can add now is that I was a very, very, very shy kid with no confidence to speak. For many years I didn't have the confidence to say what I thought about things. Now I am quite a bit older and was a nurse for 22 years. I have the confidence to speak and tend to share my views a lot more. It has taken me a long time to be more assertive and that includes taking better care of myself and also I speak up for others, eg when people are being racist, or just not telling the truth. My shyness came from having a very strict father and other factors...like my mother who said very very little and was not happy. She also had no confidence. Sometimes I have been a bit confrontational actually, but with new people I am fairly reserved. I hope that is what you were asking. I like thinking I am a truthteller. Absolutely true. I didn’t know my parents and what they hid from me about their relationship. It was a facade. My mother divorced my father after 50+ years of marriage.

Though I exploit this fact like a scientist studying human behavior and its relationship to sounds because thats all words are. He is correct in his observations. Then again what about all the other perceptional toys we play with. Remember some of us can see you as you from your everyday perception. His words are good for human understanding.

My sister-in-law once said, 'When you turn 35 you realize your husband and your children are strangers. You don't know them You only know your idea of them. You have to " your idea of them and start all over getting to know them." It was fascinating tome because Plato said you cannot be a philosopher before age 35.

You know your spouse, for sure and predict their actions and thoughts precisely .

one of the strangest experiences i've had with people is when they interact with someone.... and it's crystal clear that who they are seeing in their mind is completely different from who they are looking at... but they have no clue that they are doing it... "most of the time you are projecting onto them your own images" it's a face-on-mars kind of concept... it's so strange that it borders on supernatural...

As an African in an all white country I didn’t understand anything. First I played the race card but over time I discovered I had to learn people and that’s when I met the 48 laws of human nature. I have been through a lot of misery, pain and anger. But now I see people and judge them like characters in cartoon movies who are wearing masks. The pain was excruciating…got fired, got friendzoned. All the bad stuff unfolded before my eyes and lost all my confidence but I never lost my mind and now I have picked myself up with lessons. Btw am 24 and live in Australia.

I know there is a beast in everyone. Especially in the priest. Everyone is a potential enemy. So I keep my guard up. But I also don't guard against enemies to live freely. But my sword never leaves my side. I am always the last one to board the airplane. I am gentle with the herd. Let them board first. The bosses are over there. Me not want to be boss. You take all the responsibilities for a little bit more money and longer hours. Me live humble and freer. I give off light. I drink back my own energy. I am the sun.

Sometimes, we should stop trying to understand and just enjoy what we are experiencing. The very act of trying to dissect everything, guarantees that our intentions are not in the right place (from the start). Trust is dangerous. It is the proof of love. Love comes with its own risks; but what's the use of a life, where we haven't loved even once. It's not naivety really. Many wise people have willingly taken unwise decisions, just to experience love. But, if one has no beauty inside, can never experience love.

I always have even as a child to let people stand on their own merit. If a person treats me bad its really ok. That tells me to forgive but i cant trust them unless they change. But that doesnt affect me as i try to have peace with them. Treat everyone kind. I dont see the wheelchair, i talk to you not over your head. I dont see the homeless clothing i see the person talk to them speak kindly give them what tgey need and when i ask their name we have a connection. Sure some of us have grown up in dysfunctional fam but that doesnt define us. Thats them not me. As an ex wife my busbands always want to come back after they divorce me. But im always upfront how i feel and make it work. It breaks my heart but thats them No i cant go back. Thats my boundary. To safe myself.
