There is a reason for this. The director wanted to make it seem like Michael Myers could be anywhere and everywhere in the original. In fact if you watch the video closely the car appears quite a few times around town before his final confrontation with Laurie. The it's very creepy

You should think before you say stupid things. John carpenter has already said he's a force of nature and not just a man you can't kill so shut up because you're wrong. I'm talking about the original Halloween not the crap sequels. Michael can appear and dissappear and do strange supernatural things if you haven't noticed that then you either A Haven't watched the movie properly or B Haven't watched it enough and are a bit, you know, stupid!

There were a number of boo-boo’s in Halloween. 1. Leigh Bracket was referred to as both Chief and Sheriff. 2. Palm Trees in Illinois? In Halloween there were no trick or treaters on the street in the evening hours but in Halloween 2 miraculously the streets were full of extras. Lol

It was because of budget. This scene was filmed in CA and they needed different plates on the cars to hid where they were. They must of used the same plate. Funny enough though you can see palm trees in the back ground of some shots.

I missed this one! If you look around the time Annie went to confront Micheal for Laurie when he was hiding behind the hedge, there is cigarette smoke wafting around Annie, presumably from the cameraman or some crew member just off camera🤷‍♂️ 🚬
