Thank you for your tutorial. I will be going to Japan in Feb 23-March 8, 2025. I have a cousin that lives in Tokyo for 20 years. My starting point is traveling from Manila to Japan. Our total vacation time is 2 months. Starting at SFO on Feb 8th-until April 7th. You are the only vlogger that gives very good tutorials for first time visitors, not like other vloggers that just after first trip to Japan, they think they know it all. Even trying to teach how to speak Japanese and eat Sushi. Rididulous!!! Their channel would have been fine if they just take videos of their trip and tell a little history of the sites they visited. RESPECT is the right word!! Sometimes, Americans think that places they visited, and yet they are the outsiders that no need to follow other people ways and cultures. Just, like when my husband and I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 3 years, Americans makes a fool of themselves when it comes to conflict. Most Asian countries beliefs on respect for the elders is HUGE and expected NOT earned. Again, Thank you.

In the very beginning where it shows an example of Google translate it’s just very stiff and formal Japanese other than that last part that’s a little too casual

Can you explain me what is the use of Passmo or other similar cards if I have credit/debit card? I cannot understand the benefit of using Passmo when if I use credit/debit card I do not have to charge or do anything else

Do you board an airplane with your credit card? You have to buy a ticket. Your IC card is your 'ticket'.

Many places only take cash such as small businesses and restaurants; however, many of them take suica. Very handy for paying at convenience store, on the local buses/metro (just tap and go). The amount of the ride is automatically deducted from the card. Saves you time from having to stop at the ticket vending machines to purchase a ticket every time you want to ride the train. Works also on buses, taxis, and in many stores, and you won't end up with a surplus of coins in your pocket by using this electronic system.
