I always gasp with excitement when I see your new videos come out. Thank you for such excellent content. This month, I am growing the Sir Winston Churchill bulbs you discussed last time and a selection of ground cover in some shady areas - just to make them look more lush. Take care, DA

GMorning Niall. Daylight Savings Time here. . . Enjoyed the video. I grew Garlic Chives in the garden. I loved the smell - the leaves - the flower. They looked great in small & large clay pots. EASY!!! Loved the metro allium - a show stopper!!! Stay Safe All Niall Gardners!!! ☘️

Great that you showed a limbed up mahonia. I have one and I didn't know whether to limb it up or cut it back. Seeing yours, I have decided to leave it to grow and limb it up later. 👍👍

Great video. Wow that’s an expensive piece of equipment - one for people with big gardens me thinks. I continue to love these what to grow videos 😊

Love your videos very informative. Do you have any advice on Rubarb how to look after it in winter time. I also heard you have to split the root when do you need to do this .
@niallgardensКүн бұрын
Hi Geraldine - you'll only need to split the root if you're looking to divide and multiply it. Otherwise it'll be fine as-is. For winter, rhubarb is really pretty tolerant, so I tend to leave mine alone. However, for a bit of extra protection, you could cover it with a mulch

Thank you for the video. Just wondering where to get seeds this time of year - any recommendations for on-line suppliers please?
@niallgardensКүн бұрын
Yeah for sure! I use a company called Seeds Ireland and can highly recommend them

I didn't realise you had to blanch beans I just put them in freezer bags and straight in freezer. Never had a problem. What is the purpose of blanching please?
@niallgardensКүн бұрын
Hi Vanessa! It's actually just a personal choice rather than a requirement you'll be glad to hear - I do it because it tends to preserve the colour and flavour just that little bit more
