primer does have multiple functions: you can use it to crowd control (thanks to cold) and amplify the damage from your main weapons (a lot). My life changes after I start carrying a secondary primer. If you can kill really fast without a primer gun then sure, you dont need it.

That's not a bad thing, it just means you're not looking for the ultra-super-meta-extreme builds. And you can break both tiers down into dedicated players (the ones who have played nearly everyday for many years) and light players (the ones who play for like a week every few months either cause something new came out or it just strikes their fancy) I definitely fall into the light casual category and have a friend who'd DEFINITELY be light hardcore.

if you have maxxed arcane shiver, every cold proc on enemy will increase base damage by 50%, since it applies every quick shot, easy to get, specialy with companion with contagion shiver. with arcane empowered and going corrosive, it makes most trash mob super easy to clear. Pistols have 2 mods for increased status duration, so you can make super long viral/slash status.

lol when i got back into warframe when full cross save came out i had barely started scratching the endgame which at the time i last played fortuna had just released on ps4 and gara was the newest frame in game. the riven system was something i never dabbled in since i didnt have but a few i had picked up here and there and didnt know you had to activate them to see the mission to unlock said riven. i eventually got 15 and hit my cap and in those 15 first rivens i popped i got a ton of really useful rivens for me (plague kripath riven) and some i thought were for useless weapons but now with incarnons are op as hell like ceramic dagger and lex prime and one for the epitaph and i was going to break the epitaph one for endo but saw it was a riven for a warframe specific weapon which i like to collect for completion of sets for frame that have their own gear and sevagoth is one i havent got around to yet.

The thing about Secondary Encumber is that it can only proc *once* on a *single enemy* at a time. Multiple enemies hit at once? Irrelevant. Multiple procs per shot? Irrelevant. Multishot? Only increases the chances of getting Encumber to proc, but still only gets you a cap of one additional proc. It's better for something single-target like the Nukor. I use Cascadia Empowered on my Epitaph for a little extra damage, though honestly it's not even that great on it. I may not even use an arcane adapter when I get my Epi Prime.

the best arcane on epitaph prime is actually Fortifier. you can steal overguard from certain enemies. overguard gives you a lot of perks, even if it's tiny.

As from my Personal Testing, Frost Augment Biting Frost, where you Deal more Crit Dmg and have more Crit Chance to frozen Enemies does only work on the non-charged shot of the Epitath and not on the charged shot. Which is quite sad, because it would habe been way too funny to prime the enemys and Red Crit them with the same Weapon.😅

if you are using this, you may as well use the Arcane Ice Storm on your frame what is holding epitaph back for me are the grimoire mods also dont hold back on the galvanized mods, you have charged shot which comes out quick thx to the fire rate mods and once you get 1-2 kills it snowballs even into the uncharged direct hits with the galvanized CO, and considering you already use the normal versions of galvanized mods, not to mention if you apply DOT then it tends to steal kills from the primary weapon as long as it isnt oneshoting (aka if you use SMG or beam weapons then epitaph wil lsteal kills thru dots here and there anyway)

Force procs need to be shown in the weapon stats. We shouldn't need your video or the wiki to know what is going on. Same issue with all these weird additive/multiplier exceptions. EDIT: I just looked on the wiki and there isn't even a page listing all Forced Procs. You have to check every weapon one-by-one and it's not in a standardized place either.

The most important aspect from the prime is the blast radius, 10m is more than enough making prime or normal fulmination optional, and you can pull any mod there And the charged shot has way better stats

I will give general knowledge to the best of my ability. Some of the most used mods throughout all builds for warframes and guns are called dual stat mods. Most dual stat mods are farmed with these things called derelict keys which are used to open vaults that spawn on Deimos mission. If you are beginner I highly recommend looking into this and farming it asap. If you want primed mods, the only way to get them without trading is through baro kiteer, which is a slow process because he only shows up around every 2 weeks and only sells a handful of mods. If you mare curious abt galvanized mods they are more mid to late game. They require you to unlock a game mode called arbitrations which can only be unlocked by competing every node on the star chart. To complete every node on the star chart you must be up to date with current mainline quests (new war, angels of zariman, whispers in the walls). Galvanized mods are just upgraded versions of regularly good mods. I recommend also playing eudico bounties on fortuna. Grind for a mod called split chamber, until you get the galvanized version, this mod will most likely be on every single primary weapon build you make. There are also other good mods to get from fortuna.

Depends on your primary, usually you use the opposite. So viral on Epitath -> Corrosive on main; Corrosive on Epitath -> Viral on main. Atleast that is my understanding.
