Don't forget Mesmer Shield for Revenant. Gives him Support Frame ability, adding 5 stack of mesmer skin to any squad members in affinity range. Also, Reave will give a stack of mesmer skin to your companion. As a Rev main, I have to chuckle at the people who tell me my build is OP, then I end up in a mission with them and have to keep reviving them...

I agree with almost all the choices. Not a really big zephyr fan but her position in the top 10 is arguable. I mained saryn for so long and recently since she could passively armor strip and nuke at the same time. Now, honestly, Frost is just simply better. Instant armor strip + overguard just makes gameplay quicker and easier

most dmg type changes will be a buff except for maybe for example the change making a build more difficult to use maybe? like cold slow being annoying or something like that or the effect not being as usefull but would be rly rly interesting to check out what the changes do to every warframe maybe some builds become OP just cause of the changes XD prob gonna happen

underrating frost over there. frost right now it super strong and with the upcoming changes it will be even stronger. frost 4 is ridiculous: strips armor, gives tons of overguard (with aug), freeze enemies in place, gives cold status, which slows them too, even eximus are slowed by the cold status. also with the passive aug mod, any frozen enemy will make frost's crit chance and crit damage be 200% higher against that target. and that counts for abilities too. breach surge frost is totally ridiculous. the other day i was doing an archon hunt and some poor grineer got hit by a 74million red crit breach surge spark. yes, the spark can crit with frost aug mod "Biting Frost" also frost 3 gives invul and can be used to protect defensive objectives. frost ablity to make any shitty weapon red crit cant be ignore, all the while walking around with 30k+ of overguard and being able to fully armor strip the whole room.

My personal hot takes- Dante is boring AF to play. I'd rather kill things than constantly casting mid spells. Good support player Wisp- most overrated and boring frame on the list. New player friendly though. Zephyr- Niche play, only would use if buffed through weekly helminth for fun. Harrow- no but he is underrated. Octavia- best frame that I don't ever use. Credetials- 7000 hours Mr*4 played

Beginner here (just a couple dozens of hours rn) 👋 Atm I have 4 warframe slots, which are used for Mag, Banshee, Rhino and Vauban. I went for these warframes as I don't like farming, and got all of them without any, apart from a little bit for Rhino. I'm a support & CC kind of player, so I'm using Banshee more than the others. Her Silence helps me a lot when dealing with Exilus, especially the Arctic ones as the Xoris struggles to explode their bubble. In the future I'll go for more warframes, but when I'll feel the need to. As of now I'm more forcused on advancing in the Star Chart and doing the Quests 🙂

No rhino? It's one of the 1st frames you can farm easily. And extremely versitale. Energy nexus + nourish chaning 1st or 4th ability. Get decent duration+strength. And you are good to go, even all the way up to level cap.

The 'budget' builds are just the weaker builds, but they use mods that are much more attainable in the early game. The 'normal' builds are better and use mods that are obtained far later into the game.

I remember when I first started playing, an Octavia was in a survival mission w/ me. It was mind-blowing. I made getting her a goal and it took me literally *years* to get all of her pieces cause I kinda suck at parkour and puzzles. Within 30 days of finally getting her built we got her Prime and DE gave us a free fully built one. Aside from that bit of irony and frustration, she is still one of my top picks.

I was never really into warframe awhile back but after gauss prime got dropped i decided to come back and got him. Loved the speed and it got me back into the game for a bit. Decided my next was gonna be saryn but sadly her prime is vaulted. So spent 2 full days grinding from jupiter to sedna, got super lucky that marid on sedna had an invasion which let me bypass that frustrating hijack mission. And after finding out how to create status effects on my weapons started slaughtering the assasination boss. And i gotta say saryn has been mind blowing. I dont have her fully maxed or the good mods for her so Shes not that strong at taking damage but she dices through enemys and heavys like their nothing, ontop of spreading the corrosion and spores to the rest while im busy targeting the heavy. When i joined a syndicate i did Arbitors of hexis, which made it a pain when i found that most of the mods and the weapon i needed for saryns build where in the Red Veil, the Enemy of the one i joined so i was down about -44k standing. Now only have -11k until im back to neutral with them but wont be a problem now that im fully invested in grinding the game

Hildryn does a lot more than frames like Harrow (and most of the 57 frame roster), though. A massive range AOE defense strip, boosting allies shields, setting the entire map on fire, and having a helminth slot for roar or nourish is a really solid kit. Hildryn suffers against infested and murmur enemies with no armor which is really the only thing that sets hildryn apart from the other general use frames on this list

Fire rate, attack speed, reload speed, survivability, shield regen (you can also put pillage on Harrow), energy regen, crit chance, and crowd control. Not sure if you forgot to mention this or if you mentioned this in your gauss video but thermal sunder can already armor strip. I you use cold then heat (or vice-versa) to create blast at 100% battery, you strip 100% of enemy armor permanently

​@@NeightrixPrime well he can basically nerf enemy so he's helping entire team so they won't take much damage no matter the enemy level, he has a long range with his exalted weapon and can damage multiple enemy at once, he helps team with his 2nd ability, he can stun enemies, as long as game mode has enemies he can handle it, and game has enough horde to activate his abilities, also it's not about damage, as he included warframe like Harrow, Revenant.

@@TrilokBaghel put primed flow in the flex slot and violet archon shards for melee crit dmg. Zoom and dash with the praedos and refresh desolate hands while u have mags pull and nautilus cordon with you. You will barely need to use your two for your restraint.

noctua aside, i feel like dante can't do anything styanax can't so i don't see much of a reason personally to invest in Dante when i already have a cracked up styanax, though if you're a newer player or you don't have either yet, dante is definitely easier to get and is a lower investment to make steel path ready

For me the difference here is that Dante can get infinite Overguard Gating whereas Styanax can't and I think Dante's Nuke is superior to Styanaxes. But I agree they fill similar roles 😉

Frost has been insane for years, his 4 is a big-damage nuke which freezes enemies, strips 100% armor and grants overguard to entire team. His 3 a bubble which has infinite health for 4 seconds (fixed) after casting and he's one of very few frames with a passive augment. Build him for 60% efficiency w/ Precision Intensify, Arcane Energize and Arcane Steadfast and you can spam 3 and 4 forever keeping every enemy permanently stripped and the entire team permanently alive. Frost may not be the flashiest frame in game but his raw ability to carry a team is actually unmatched in the entire game.

Not even mentioning Styanax is crazy. He has everything you want for most content. Health regen and armor break, energy and shield regen with over shield generation and a crazy cheap nuking option in his 4 makes him insanely powerful. Not even to mention the augment on his 4 for even more survivability. Bro is a must have.

@Lon3Ghost Still, I just don't think many of these frames outpace Styanax. Do you need good damage? We got it. Need survivability, we got it in 2 different abilities at base, 3 with a mod for his 4. Need armor break? We got it. We even have an alright 1 for late star chart and early Steel Path. Styanax is just such a powerful frame right now, it's absurd that he didn't even get an honorable mention despite being, without a doubt, a top 10 frame.

I main yareli and she has a permanent 90% damage reduction, can make enemies take 400%+ more damage from everything, and can subsume roar or nourish to turn nearly unmodded weapons into one shotters for early steel path. Shes amazing but a lot of frames can do what I just said she can, therefore on a tier list, it’s kinda random

Another alternative to get some normal warframes is the normal circuit. I got Harrow that way. The only problem is that you have to wait until the week that your desired frame is available.

EDIT: I agree with you regarding Octavia, when I started playing the game last year, I bought her starter pack and she was fun for a bit, I ended up crafting an end-game build that packs a punch but I stopped playing with her because how boring she was.

She is my favorite warframe ever, and to see how busted she is ever since her launch to now, I am so happy to see her still dominating, I even bought her prime access, the only prime access I ever got. Loki is basically useless because why play him when tavi is literally him, but end game power. Why bother with Valkyries immortality when tavi can do that better and be usable endgame

To the "Hydroid does the same thing Saryn does, but worse" (paraphrased) comment you should have probably added that he drops more loot than Khora, at 100% vs Khora's 65%, and with a better range too. He is the #1 loot frame, besides maybe Nekros as they don't compete, but unlike Nekros, higher drop chance works on stuff that Nekros has no way of dropping from corpses. And I also find it weird that you treated this list as a "strongest Warframe" list vs the "must have" as the title suggests. It's a farming game and you included not a single farming frame in the actual list. So if anyone who actually needed to watch this video sees this comment, absolutely get Nekros and Hydroid/Khora. They will save you so much time it's not even funny.

I didn't play for 6 years before I came back a few months ago too. Just do all the main quests that you can (devuri parodox, New war, etc), try to max all the daily standing (Deimos, Zariman, etc), and unlock steel path so you can get access to incarnon weekly (talk to teshin after starchart completion). Both Deimos' faction standing is necessary cause that's how you'll get Helminth and archon shards. It's also how you get Netracells and Deep Archmedea. The new meta mods are Galvanized and Archon mods. The meta weapons are mostly incarnon, but there's also Kuva and Tenet weapons. Frames are all preference but the meta hasn't changed much around those. The weekly vendors are in: Teshin, Iron Hold, the Dormizone and Nightwave mainly. . I didn't go into detail cause I recommend you find a more detailed guide- but I'm hoping you can use these Key points for reference when searching. Basically; my weekly endgame is currently SP circuit to tier 10, x3 netracells, Deep Archmedea and Archon hunt- usually takes me around 5-6 hours to finish all that weekly. Then sprinkle some Eidolon in there when I have extra time.

If you want to play Dante use at least two yellow tauforged archon shards for casting speed.His animation is extremely slow.With the shards you will nuke everything super fast and you won't die when trying to refresh your overguard while a room of angry mobs hit you.

Why is voruna slept on? Best melee frame in the game imo, can clear entire rooms and spread every status effect possible to all enemies in a set range for stripping, plus one of passives is being immune to all status effects.

Respect for putting Octavia on no 1 spot (that she deserved) she is actually a cheat frame, which is very rare in a live service game. And weather u like it or not, everyone is guilty of using her for easy farming. If u r a new player, use her for easy time in game or don't use her for fun time in the game (other frames do have very fun game mechanics).

I'm surprised you didn't mention Inaros. It can be built for near anything with full Umbral and Adaption on multiple configs. Could replace Desiccation with Eclipse and add Total Eclipse to help squad survive Elite Archimedea. Xata's Wisper for more damage with infinite punch through like Felarx to defeat Archons and Demolishers easier. Wrathful Advanced for melee. Many ways to experiment playing. Personally I have Golden Instinct on my first slot so I can farm Ayatan while doing dailies.
