So glad I found your channel before our trip to Mauritius! Really sold the location to us. Still a few things we are unsure about like how much money we need! How much does it cost to visit places like this? Do you pay for parking everywhere?

This was free and most place have free parking, except Port Louis. Almost everything we do, including most museums are free

It is NOT the most sacred place in Mauritius. Mauritius is not a Hindu country. It is a multi religious country. Get your facts right. Not so long ago, Mauritius was predominantly a Christian country but due to the higher birth rate of Indians and Muslims, the religious presence of Christianity has decreased. However, this does not make Mauritius a Hindu country.

Are u mauritian??? Am mauritian Mauritius was never a Christian majority country it has always been multi religious with hinduism as its dominating religion. Since independence . U should get ur fact right dear 70% of the population is Indian ethnically. Btw talking abt birth rate its Christian who has higher Fertility. As hindus and Muslims are educated they tend to have 2 or three children while Christian who are poor live in cite has 6 ,7, 8 children. U dont believe u can go visited some cite in Mauritius to see their living condition and number of children they are making👌🏿 Reason y we have big christian population today is because they are poor and dont do family planning but this is changing now due to free education till tertiary and all now everyone can access proper education. Now u will ask why were the Christians poor while Muslims and hindus were more stable. Well simple hindus and Muslims are Indian decendent they were not slave but contracted workers so they were getting paid to work during colonisation while Christians are African decendent so they were slave who were not paid . So when the British left mauritius the indian(Muslim and hindus) had money to buy land and all while Christians were poor no money. Even today u can see many African decendent the creol living on rent while the Indian have their own land many land and houses. I know it's hard but this is part of the Mauritius history. Also u said ganga talao is not the most sacred place in country. Well go go and tell that the number of people who are coming here during mahashivratri from all across the country more that 50% of the population come for mahashivratri including many Christians dear. Fun fact hindus from nearby countries like south Africa reunion and Seychelles have also started coming here during mahashivratri and u r saying its not sacred. The biggest hindu pilgrimage outside Asia happen here in grandbsassin Clearly u r not mauritian otherwise u would have known these facts.
