dont worry u can improve quickly i guess, im on lichess and looking at my stats : fom december 2nd to may 8th 2024 I hardly improved at all only gaining 100 elo but then...in 10 days I gained like +200 elo now I'm at 1800 elo lol

I played chess before the internet when it was thought a computer could never beat a human. Also, GMs wrote books and seemed very distant, as with top celebrities. Listening to you as you play is very very cool.
