I'm miles away from mastering Midjourney, and prompting it to make small specific changes has rarely been successful. This Generative Fill from Adobe feels like a gift from the heavens.

Sometimes MJ makes up it's own mind rather than following specific direction. All the AI have 'tude. Generative Fill is a bit quirky, but for a first version, I'm pretty impressed.

For outpainting, you can upscale and use the Zoom tool to move the camera backwards

Just downloaded the beta. Would you do the fill before or after resizing the upscaled image from midjourney?

I'd probably do all my changes first. I usually do my resizing at the end. The layers are smart layers. To change them, like regular add adjustment layers/masks, you'll have to convert the layers. Get the image close to what you want and then start editing.

Midjourney is my fav! No commercial rights yet for Adobe that I know of. But putting it into PS beta and now PS express shows movement in that direction.
