Execellent advise and encouragement Kirsty. I'm glad I will not be making tutorials because yours are the best. :D I'm already working on the business side. Patience is the key. Do you feel we all need a You Tube channel? I do want to learn more about how to monetize my art, besides sell my prints. The kitten painting is adorable and beautiful. I love the embellished splats and drips effect.

Hey Kirsty! I just want to say that you're an incredible artist .. Your art is just... Awesome! i just have a little question: i am drawing a portrait using my Caran d'Ache aquarelle color pencils.. and I want to know that if I use water on it (since they are aquarelle pencils) does it give the same effect when you use solvent for ordinary color pencils? thanks ❤️

So I've seen plenty of artists share the marketing aspect of business in relation to art and you've done a splendid job if that, but I never really hear any "popular" artists discuss the legal business aspects and taxes. Yes marketing and having a business strategy are important but do you have a business license for all these products you create and then sell? What forms would I have to fill out to identify that art is my career? Is there a certain amount I am able to earn before I Have to identify as a business? Can I get in trouble for making money through art related merchandise/products with the IRS if I don't identity as a business? These are all questions I ask myself and wonder for future creators because I rarely see any important information in regards to these questions. I personally hope to find the answers myself once I'm back stateside and share what I can cause these are all important to artistic career that kind of just simmer way down low as far as art topics. Anyways I'm still going to add this to my Art Business Tips Playlist cause it's important

Okay so I give up. I've searched everywhere for a solvent/pencil blend type of thing in Sweden but I don't find anything. Do you have any ideas? I could order from Amazon but the shipping is sooo expensive.

S Holm Hello, I think you should try baby oil. There are many videos on KZbin. Also please try it first on a scrap piece of paper to make sure you don’t destroy you art. Good luck!
