TS-PC 488 Challenge Edition used to cost 900 CAD, no pedals included. Now costs 1070 CAD, still no pedals included. Moza R5 Bundle on the other hand costs 730 CAD. Absolutely worth the money.

Pretty good review. I personally would be quite happy with having the R5 as my wheelbase as I primarily just play BeamNG & ATS/ETS2 so more than 4-6Nm is not needed for me, as it's pretty much sporty road cars or big trucks with crazy power steering lol P.S. Can you up the volume of your videos in the editing software? They're quiterer than rest of the videos on KZbin
@Sim_PulseАй бұрын
@@Sithhy haha, will keep that in mind for the future! I prefer to not have My videos clip ( audio wise ) and My microphone is naturally quite quiet so it does it for Me 🤷🏻♂️ And as for the wheelbase itself, yeah! I wasn’t so convinced about 5NM wheelbases for a long time, until I actually tried the Cammus C5 and now the Moza R5 and found it perfectly serviceable! :)

Do you recommend that I get a R5 over a R3? Right now theres going to be a black friday sell for the r3 and maybe the $350 price tag is worth it over going up to the r5?
@Sim_Pulse6 күн бұрын
Hello! To be honest, I personally consider 5NM to be the baseline for entry/mid entry level bases, as below 5 You start losing a considerable amount of force. I have many higher end wheelbases, yet I still use the R5 simply because it’s most of the time enough for what I do! ( and I have lots of Moza gear to review 😭 ) Hope this helped!

I wish Moza would offer a bundle with a round steering wheel. If they did, I'd empty my cart at Fanatec.
@Sim_Pulse24 күн бұрын
Very true… it does indeed suck that You can’t make Your own bundle/swap out the D shape with the all round out of the box ;-;
@Luis08.1014 күн бұрын
Hi! I have a quick Question, are 5,5Nm enough torque or should i buy the r9. I thought about buying the Fanatec CSL DD but i wantet to use the Truck Rim and stalks from Moza so I am unsure which Wb to buy. I already have a Thrustmaster T500rs but i want to upgrade as the Wb doesnt give enough output in my opinion. Which Wb should i buy in your opinion? Thanks!
@Sim_Pulse14 күн бұрын
Hello! It depends on what You mainly do, as if You mainly do Truck sims, rallying or drifting the R5 will be more than enough for 90% of people out there. BUT if You decide to do some actual racing then the R9 will be the minimum imo. And then factoring Your previous wheelbase, You won't find a massive improvement by upgrading to the R5 atm, so I'd probably go for the R9 if it fits into Your budget :)
@Luis08.1014 күн бұрын
@Sim_Pulse Thanks! Is there a difference between the R9 V1 and V2? Addition: I sometime do play acc or ac but most of the time beam NG just cruising. Budget for now is limited, I am hoping that there will be massive sales in Black Friday.

what would you suggest to someone who just upgraded their g29 pedals with t-lcm ones? i would really like to buy the r5 but i dont need the pedals as they are downgrades from what i have now
@Sim_Pulse17 сағат бұрын
Hello! To be honest, I’m not sure.. I’d probably just buy the bundle, and maybe sell the included pedals? Or just bite the bullet and try to get some of the money back from the T-LCM’s while they are “new-ish”… To be honest, I’m not sure Myself, if You have a better option do let Me know! And keep Me updated if You do end up buying the R5 :)
@KartingBishopАй бұрын
I'm still not sure whether to get this bundle or wait and see if Fanatec get any better, I'll probably be getting a DD next year so I might just wait atm
@Sim_PulseАй бұрын
Honestly, I’d hold out for a little bit to see what Fanatec & Thrustmaster cook aswell - Though after owning the CSL DD for 2 years, I found the R5 just that bit better in terms of quality, software and yea, feedback :)

@@Sim_Pulse Really, Moza has better FFB than Fanatec ? Most reviewers seems to think Moza is a bit behind when it comes to details.
@SithhyАй бұрын
I'd go for Moza, especially seeing how their aftermarket accessory market is cheaper than what Fanatec offers (2000€ wheels, 200€ FFB adapter etc.)
@Sim_PulseАй бұрын
@@Jonny._. honestly! I bought My Fanatec, so I really want it to win, but after “ ***Some Extensive Tweaking*** “ You can get it to feel SO good… Dare I say more detail than the Cammus C5, My previous pick for best “budget” DD! 👀

The newest thrustmaster and fanatec csl new software updates have pushed this down
@Sim_PulseАй бұрын
Honestly, I wouldn’t say so.. Moza’s software is still fantastic, and we are yet to even see Fanakek’s interpretation! I’ll rescind My statement if/when Fanatec ACTUALLY improves their shiz! ( the Porsche wheel looks gorgeous btw, eye watering stuff right there )

@@Sim_Pulse i really cant see 5nm really being good enough. The csl was my first upgrade before my clubsport and the csl 5nm was disappointing from the g29. 8 nm made it a different, better machine

i got one sometime ago, was overheating after 5 minutes, sent it back AT MY EXPENSES because this shit company doesnt cover shipping costs, got a replacement base from them, had same problem. I sent it back, lost 50+ euros and never wanted to hear from them again. absolute shit company. idk how everyone can be this happy with this crap that couldn't handle 5 minutes of low ffb racing. My G920 handled 10hrs of racing without breaking a sweat, and i used it at high ffb settings vs the low ffb setting i used trying to save the moza.

Hello! Yes, Really!! - I only really found the lack of torque to be an issue, aswell as the stock pedals being pretty awful.... I am usually more critical, but everything in the bundle was surprisingly cromulent!
